      Hi Bob,

      I’ve been building stands like this since 1999 and I’ve never heard of that happening.  Is there something else at work here?  If you’re looking for some advice on your setup, feel free to email me some pics at tim@KartLift.com and I’ll if I see anything that might cause a breakage.
