Bill,

I always have the crank bearing surfaces polished so there is a slip fit between the crank and the main bearings.  This ensures easy assembly and disassembly without a special tool.

There is a special Honda tool, but I don’t have one and have never used one.

And just to add, a small brake cylinder hone can be used to slip fit the bearings in just a few minutes.
