      Members of the Mid-State Kart Club met with Springfield Illlinois city officials yesterday to discuss a possible downtown street race.  Tenatively scheduled for June 7-8, 2014.  The race would be near the historic Lincoln sites and the State Capitol building.  The streets have just been re-paved to make a exciting and safe course.

      I was talking with the family on our way to the races last weekend and I mentioned how great that area would be for a race…keep up the good work…
