Let the countdown begin!!!!!!!! 7 days before the gates open!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

As of now, we have “TOP NOTCH” driver’s from Kansas, Oklahoma, Texas, Missouri, Nebraska, Iowa, Alabama, Arkansas, Louisiana coming to HMRC to compete in one or more of the 31 classes KART has available to compete in. With the stiff competition along with HMRC being a technical & fun track, I look forward in watching some of the best racing seen in ROAD RACING!!!!

      INFORMATION:

      1) Be sure to bring plenty of liquids to drink (not alcohol!!!!).

      2) Be sure to bring lawn chairs. We are looking at having the Saturday night festivities down at the winner circle area. If so, we all will need to bring our own chairs.

Another KART Enduro National Championships is history.  Thanks so much to the Read Family, Roger, Jackie, anyone else that helped out w/ the event and awards’ ceremony and feed.  And thanks especially to girl-everything, Maysha (and her girls), for always having a pleasant attitude regardless of how things are going from their perspective.

Saw a lot of people having a really good time and really enjoying the KART/MARRS’ road racing experience.

And thank the Lord for not torching us with what might have been “normal” Hallett, OK  July/August’ temperatures, especially on Sunday.  That respite was a pleasant surprise, even to the meteorologists.

BUMMER that Scott, Bennie, and Joshua Schrimpf’s trailer took an unexpected trip about 15 miles from the track and came to an abrupt stop.  Trailer is probably done for, karts are probably OK but Bennie’s scooter is probably not fixable.  Not a good way to end the weekend.

DITTO on Linda’s comments!!!!!!  FANTASTIC WEEKEND!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

For good news to the Schrimpf family, THANK U James Denny & who ever else was able to help get there trailer to Tulsa. Even thou a lot of the equipment inside the trailer was damaged beyond repair, no one got hurt and that means a hell of a lot!!! As Scott told me, it was time for a new trailer anyway.

From the RACE DIRECTOR (THE MAN), Thanks to not only those that Linda mentioned, THANK U to ALL the RACERS & FAMILIES who attended!!!!!!!!!!! I have done many races let alone national events and I must say, this was at the top!!!!

It seemed that the weather was great, schedule worked perfect for everyone, racers did an excellent job getting to the line, raced hard, safe, and had FUN!!!!

I do apologize for it not being on RACE Monitor!!! We found out on Friday that the computer Maysha uses for scoring is not NEW enough for it (YUCK).  I’m not sure RM could actually tell the real story of the racing. These racers were swapping positions like flies gathering around watermelon all over the race track!!!!

And to the racers, families, friends, etc who were there, from myself (THE MAN) along with the KART officials, THANK YOU for your comments on how well the event was ran!!!!  This means a lot to us who not only you see working at the event but the time we spend before & after.

No matter where you are from or what series you race, GOOD LUCK & have a GREAT, SAFE & FUN remaining season!!!

        THE MAN

Does anyone know if the photographer has a website/email/phone #?  I didn’t get the opportunity to look at the pictures other than what was scrolling on the monitors, but would be interested in seeing what he’s got. Thanks!

I noticed that Saturdays 125 shifter race had about half of the field DQ’d. Can anyone shed some light on what happened?
