The KA100 Junior category was introduced at the SuperNationals back in 2018, and that debut race was won by Australian James Wharton, who will race in Formula 2 next year. Since then, six different drivers have stood at the top of the podium on SuperSunday, leading to 2025 FIA Karting OK Junior World Champion Noah Baglin celebrating victory in his first SuperNationals start last year. Baglin has graduated to the Senior ranks, leading to an eighth different name to be etched into the KA100 Junior record books after this year’s Final.

Many of those from last year’s field have moved up the ranks with only 18 drivers from 2025 returning in the category. The top finisher from SuperNationals 28 is Travis Pettit (BJR / LN Kart), who was fourth. Pettit comes in among the top Junior drivers in the country, and he is set to make his final karting start in Vegas before moving to car racing in 2027. The New Jersey driver was second in the SKUSA Pro Tour standings behind Colton Schniegenberg, who is not on the list for SuperNationals, as he will be racing at WSK Final Cup program the week after. Ashton Woon (SCR / CS55) was third in the standings, Tristan Murphy (RPM / Tony Kart) was fourth and SKUSA Winter Series champion Nathan Golseth (SCR / CS55) was fifth. Those four drivers are all returning from 2025.

Numerous drivers have been contenders throughout 2026 and will be in Las Vegas, including Lucas Palacio (RPG / Kosmic), making his first SuperNats start since placing fifth in Mini Swift. Marco Sammut (BJR / LN Kart) was a two-time winner at the SpringNationals in 2026 in his first-ever class starts, and is making his first KA100 Junior start in Vegas. Braydon Wagner (FW / GFC) is making his second class start, as is Nico Kotowski (TKG / Birelart) and Mateo Calderon (SCR / CS55). Enzo DiGennaro (Parolin Motorsport USA) is set for his first start after racing X30 Junior a year ago.

The only two former SuperNationals winners in the field are Maxwell Macha (Parolin Motorsport USA) and Benja Fernandez (MPG / Kart Republic). Macha is a two-time winner, grabbing Micro Swift in 2023 and earning the win in Mini Swift last year. Fernandez was the Mini Swift winner in 2024, before placing 26th in his KA100 Junior debut at the SuperNationals.

Among the KA100 Junior rookies at the SuperNationals is Wynn Godschalk (MPG / Kart Republic). The Red Bull Junior Team driver is returning to the SuperNats for the first time since 2024 where he was fourth in Micro Swift. Santiago Orioli (OKP / EOS) was top-10 in his last two SuperNats starts for Mini and Micro. Lawrence Peremen (BJR / LN Kart) is coming off a top-five finish at ROK Vegas with Koa Saito (GFC Karting) the top qualifier last week. Tanner Barsch (MSL / OTK) and Aston Wyatt (RPM / Tony Kart) are among the 13 drivers coming up from Mini last year, where they were fourth and seventh on SuperSunday.

A total of 19 drivers from outside the United States are competing in the 71-driver field racing for 40 grid spots on SuperSunday. Mexico driver Ruben Gutierrez (RPG / Kosmic) is coming off victory at the ROK Vegas event. Jay Kostecki (BJR / LN Kart) is seeking to become the second winner from Australia, coming off a ninth-place result last year. Swedish driver Albert Tamm (Parolin Motorsport USA) is another international name to watch on the week.
