Badger Kart Club Announces the Mill-Rite Shootout with Over $20,000 in Cash Prizes

Badger Kart Club is thrilled to announce the highly anticiapted Mill-Rite Shootout, set to take place on June 23, 2024, at the Mill-Rite Raceway in Dousman, Wisconsin with support from Mill-Rite Inc, Mills Pallet Inc, Perkins All-Stars Construction, Franklin Motorsports and Rolison Performance Group. The event is situated the weekend prior to the United States Pro Kart Series Wisconsin Grand Prix.

The Mill-Rite Shootout is not only an opportunity for racers to win big, with more than $20,000 in cash prizes up for grabs, but also the chance to have their name added to the prestigious ‘Throwdown Sword’. The traveling trophy was established in 2009 with Franklin Motorsports’ own Jamie Sieracki as the inaugural winner with the Sword currently held by Brandon Lemke. Previous owners of the Throwdown Sword include Shinya Michimi, Jimmy Clark, Joel Jens, Kyle Kalish, Lillian Kearney, and Josh Hotz.

This event promises to bring together the best talent in kart racing, offering a platform for both seasoned professionals and rising stars to showcase their abilities. The KA100 Senior category will be the class fighting for the ‘Throwdown Sword’ this June at the home of the Badger Kart Club, with X30 Senior, KA100 Junior and Mini Swift also part of the Mill-Rite Shootout.

Each class will contest a Green-White-Checkered Qualifying session to line them up for a 15-lap Prefinal. For those classes with more the 40 drivers, and quick five-lap Last Chance Qualifier will set the fields with a 25-lap main event for all four categories.
