The ProKart Challenge will make its second ever visit to the Spring Mountain Karting Complex. The program travels to the Pahrump, Nevada course over the September 12-13 weekend for Round Five of the Superkarts! USA regional championship series.

The program last visited the facility in April 2025, competing on the ‘North’ circuit that replicates the former Las Vegas Karting Center where the SKUSA SuperNationals were held from 1997 to 2001. The 2026 visit will feature the ‘Full Track’ at 1.12-miles and 19 turns, including the long front straightaway that is over 800 feet long.

The penultimate round of the ProKart Challenge puts an emphasis on the championship chases heading into next weekend. Reaching high speeds around the Spring Mountain Karting Complex includes Pro Shifter presented by Axis Kartsport. Multi-time series champion and six-time SKUSA SuperNationals winner Billy Musgrave has two wins in 2026, however, only leads the standings by 16 points over Jacob Gulick. New class winner Jesus Vasquez Jr. is third, only 62 points out of first. Two wins also puts Jake Drew at the top of the standings in KA100 Senior presented by Hayner Racing Team. His lead is 130 points over Stephen Eisert with Round Two victor Matthew Cagle holding third.

Four different drivers have won over the season in KA100 Junior presented by Nash Motorsportz. Diesel Biezonsky is not one of them but he is the championship leader with two rounds remaining. Round Three winner Mateo Calderon is only 34 points out of the top spot with Round Four victor Daniel Ramirez sitting third, within 125 points. Ryan Casner is another two race winner leading a championship, sitting at the top of the standings in KA100 Master presented by Precision Karting. Just 82 points separate him and Joshua Daley with Blake Lawrence third in the chase. Wins over the last two rounds promotes Kevin Woods to the top of the standings in Master Shifter presented by Leading Edge Motorsports. Marcin Kloda is second with Walker Lytle in third, still seeking his first podium of the season.

Theo Kekati extended his championship lead in the FZ125 Senior division presented by P1 Engines Inc. points standings with a second victory on the season at the second Sonoma weekend. The advantage is now 104 points over Matthew McCoy with Xander Malatesta into third with two straight podium finishes. James Krogstad has four straight wins in FZ125 Master presented by Precision Works Racing to lead the championship heading into Round Five over Jeff Krogstad and Stefan Maike.

The win streak for Jude Sack ended at three in FZ85 Junior presented by West Coast Motorsports following the second Sonoma weekend. Despite that, he still leads the championship by 130 points over Diesel Biezonsky with Round Four winner Mati Dragan in third. The win streak is at three now for Asher Biezonsky as he is the championship leader in the FZ65 Mini Shifter class presented by Empire Karts. Just five points separated he and Round One winner Tyler Wade in the standings with Cole Harris only 30 points back in third with Kyle Wade close in points, sitting fourth.

Four different drivers have won in Mini Swift presented by Formula Works/GFC. Benjamin Tavi has yet to reach the top step of the podium yet leads the championship standings heading into Round Five. The advantage is 43 points over Round Two winner Matthew Paciulli with Chase Riddering in third with two podium finishes in total. The two wins to begin the year keep Carson Bishop at the top of the Mini Swift presented by Formula Works/GFC standings. Round Three winner Benjamin Monroy is second, back by 94 points with Ezra Medina holding third in the chase.

Pre-Entry is currently open for Round Five of the ProKart Challenge at Spring Mountain Karting Complex until the online registration deadline of Tuesday, September 8 at 11:59pm PDT. As always, a 2026 SKUSA membership is mandatory to register and compete. Complete race and venue information, along with a tentative weekend schedule, can be found at the PKC Event Page.
