Inaugural Norberg Pro-Kart Invitational Set for SKUSA WinterNationals Warm-up Weekend
Under the Lights. Big Purse. 100cc Racing.
The inaugural Norberg Pro-Kart Invitational is set for March 2-3, 2024, which will be an add-on event to the unofficial test weekend at Orlando Kart Center. The special one-off event is scheduled for the weekend before the Superkarts! Pro Tour WinterNationals at the Orlando, Florida facility.
Practice will be conducted as normal during the day. As the sun goes down, the Norberg Pro-Kart Invitational will light up the night with this first-time event!
The event is based around KA100 Senior class specs, with the minimum driver age being lowered to 13 years and older. All drivers who enter will compete in a multi-session format on Friday evening’s ‘Semi-Pro’ sessions. The Top-15 from Friday will be merged in with ‘Norberg Pro-Kart’ invite drivers for Saturday night’s action. Those drivers will all race for a chance at the over $20,000 purse, with both days of the event streamed LIVE on Kart Chaser.
“I’m stoked to be able to put this race together. Being a pro driver myself, I’ve always looked for ways to legitimize the profession even more. My goal is to show that karting is the best form of entertainment and can hold its own across all forms of motorsports.” – Ryan Norberg
More details of the event will be coming soon, including specifics on the format, purse, timeline, and how to enter.
