Florida Winter Series Established Between Lucas Oil School of Racing and MPG Motorsports

MPG Motorsports, in collaboration with the Lucas Oil School of Racing, is excited to announce the Florida Winter Series, a pivotal extension of their dynamic partnership that promises to revolutionize the pathway for emerging motorsport talents. This announcement follows the recent establishment of their official partnership, a move celebrated for its focus on nurturing the future stars of motorsport.

The Florida Winter Series, commencing on February 5-7, 2024 at the Homestead-Miami Speedway, is poised to offer a comprehensive and immersive racing experience, highlighting a $65,000 awards pool and an unprecedented six hours of seat time for participants. This series represents a significant leap in pre-season training for aspiring champions, emphasizing the criticality of hands-on experience in a competitive environment.

Billy Vincent, a key figure in the partnership and former IndyCar team member from Arrow McLaren, shares his enthusiasm: “The Florida Winter Series is a strategic and exciting step in our journey with the Lucas Oil School of Racing. This series isn’t just about racing; it’s about preparing the next generation of motorsport professionals for success in all aspects of the industry.”

The series features a unique three-day, four-race format, attracting international talents and providing an exceptional platform for drivers to showcase their skills. The Lucas Oil School of Racing’s ‘arrive and drive’ approach ensures that participants can focus entirely on honing their racing abilities, with all necessary resources, including cars, mechanics, and expert instructors, readily available.

Offering two distinct paths, the program caters to both novices and experienced racers. Newcomers will engage in the BasicPLUS program, an accelerated version of the standard Basic School, while seasoned drivers will participate in the Advanced Lapping Program. Following the training sessions, all drivers will compete in the final races, vying for the significant awards at stake.

Vincent adds, “Our partnership with Lucas Oil School of Racing is more than just a collaboration; it’s a commitment to enriching the motorsport ecosystem. The Florida Winter Series is a testament to our dedication to offering accessible, high-quality training and racing opportunities to aspiring talents.”
