Racelab Stocked with TB Kart Inventory
New North America distributor ready to expand network for established world-wide brand
It’s been a busy three months since Racelab announced its position as the new official distributor for TB Kart in North America. Racelab has found a new home under the ownership of Craig Finer, along with a new location at the amazing KARTPLEX facility that is located within the Area 27 Motorsports Park in Oliver, British Columbia. What began with rental kart relationship at the kart track evolved into the North American distributorship for TB Kart, along with the Villeneuve Racing Karts (JV Karts) program as well. Despite global supply chain issues, Racelab’s inventory is fully stocked with both brands available for customers and dealers in North America at both its home in British Columbia and their US base in Pompano Beach, Florida.
The 2022 TB Kart product line includes a model for all age groups. The S55M is TB Kart chassis for single-speed competition, which picked up victory at the SKUSA Winter Series opener back in January. The S197M is the shifterkart chassis that has been successful across the country in Senior and Master competition. The ‘Monster’ chassis serves the Cadet divisions, while the BabyKart is reserved for the Kid Kart category.
The JV Kart (Villeneuve Racing Karts) is reserved for the Canadian market through Racelab, and the company is working with 1997 Formula One World Champion Jacques Villeneuve, who visited the facility recently. A full roster of chassis models is available, led by the JV1 for full size categories, the JV6 for shifter divisions, and the JVJr frame for Cadet racers. Racelab driver Ty Fisher has been carrying the JV Kart brand flag throughout North America, competing in major US events, including the SKUSA Pro Tour and United States Pro Kart Series in the Mini Swift division.
Racelab has a full-service kart shop at its KARTPLEX location which, along with their online store, provides a wide range of products. The shop is stocked with engine components for ROK, Briggs & Stratton and Rotax motors and parts. Jecko Seats are also available, along with the Stone Trolleys to get your kart from the paddock to the pit lane. All products available from Racelab can be found on their website at TheRacelab.ca.
The Racelab race team continues to compete each and every weekend, both in the United States and in Canada. Recently, they added two drivers to the roster, including Kevin Foster and United States Pro Rally Champion Brandon Semenuk.

James Bedard drove to victory in the Micro Max class at the Max Karting Group Rotax Canada Final event
It was Foster who has led the way for Racelab, as the team picked up three victories at the Max Karting Group Rotax Canada Final event at the Edmonton & District Kart Racing Association facility at the end of July. Foster claimed victory in Rotax Senior with Josh Finer joining him on the podium, both on the JV Kart. Gabriel Balog won Mini Max on a JV Kart with Bowen Gilbert standing on the third step of the podium on his TB Kart. James Bedard gave Racelab a third victory in Edmonton, driving to the win on his TB Kart in Micro Max. Both Foster and Bedard earned tickets to the Rotax Max Challenge Grand Finals, set for Portugal in November.
Over the August 20-21 weekend, Racelab visited the Greg Moore Raceway to compete in the second event for the BC Summer Sprint Series event. The championship concludes on September 3-4 at the KARTPLEX. Racelab has been present at the United States Pro Kart Series and Superkarts! USA Pro Tour events throughout the season with Ty Fisher competing in the Mini Swift division.
To close out the 2022 season, Racelab is slated to provide full trackside program for the Superkarts! USA SuperNationals 25 in Las Vegas on November 16-20. Arrive and Drive opportunities are available aboard the TB Kart brand.
The dealer network for the TB Kart chassis through Racelab is on the verge of expansion. Discussions are in the process with several shops and businesses to house the brand to support customers in their area.
