GFC Karting is excited to announce the addition of three new dealers to their growing network. The championship-winning brand will now be available in Texas through Trackside Karting Services and in Thailand through former GFC driver Worawong Komarakul. GFC has also signed their first Canadian dealer with Vancouver, British Columbia’s Madonna Racing coming on-board.

Tim Lobaugh’s Trackside Karting Services debuted with the GFC brand on the August 5-6 weekend at the Texas Sprint Racing Series event at the Amarillo Kart Circuit and dominated the event in the Briggs 206 Junior class.

“I’m very excited to be working with Tim Lobaugh in Texas,” offered GFC Karting’s Gary Carlton. “Tim has been an important name in the karting industry for a very long time and I am honored that he will now be supporting the GFC brand in Texas. Adding his experience and hard work ethic will only add strength to our brand that continues to grow nationwide.”

“Wow, what an opportunity to work with Gary Carlton,” Lobaugh added. “I’ve watched him a long time and his professionalism and just true talent always impressed me. We tested GFC kart last weekend at TSRS in Amarillo in 206 Junior and it was fantastic. Little changes and really quick out of the box and the results showed as we swept the weekend! I’m looking forward to working with GFC and maybe I can even give a little input on it.”

In addition to expanding the dealer network in the United States, GFC Karting is now international. The GFC brand is expanding overseas to Thailand with Worawong Komarakul becoming GFC’s first importer in Asia. Thai-born Komarakul was an instrumental figure in the launch of the GFC brand. Along with designing the brand’s first-ever livery, he also raced and worked on the GFC Factory team in California during the very beginning of the company. After returning home to Thailand, Komarakul will now shift his focus to driver management and growing the GFC brand in Thailand and expanding more into the Asian market.

GFC’s new presence in Canada features a partnership with the father/son team of Tim and TJ Madonna. They will be supporting the GFC brand in Western Canada and have already taken their first order of chassis.

On the August 5-6 weekend, the GFC brand was extremely successful all over the country, led by Mike Rivera from Rivera Racing winning the ROK Shifter Masters class at the ROK Fest East event at the New York Race Complex. As previously mentioned, Trackside Karting Service scored their first win with GFC karts with Ragan Saville winning 206 Junior in Amarillo during the TSRS Midsummer Mashup. R3 SpeedFab was also victorious at the Kansas City Karting Association with Wes Witt winning in 206 Cadet. RJ Brown added a runner-up finish in Mini Swift. In the Pacific Northwest at the Padholder Super Cup Series finale in Sumas, Washington, CMC earned a pair of second-place results with Sergio Tapia in TaG Senior and Cole Hegar in KZ. Paul Booher added to the win total in the Prairie City California Club Series, scoring the victory in 206 Masters.
