3 tips, get there early, parking once all the racers and the racers family and pit crew get there becomes scarce. Be careful where you park, one year I had the pleasent experience of finding my car. Bring something for shade, or sun screen. If your trying to get your kids into karting, its worth getting the pit pass to show your kids around.

I agree Brian. Local track are sometimes 2-3 hour drives. Then sometimes there is no one there to help because they are out at different track for this series or that series.  Im glad that EKN is taking the lead some what on this, I just hope that will do exactly what I was talking about above with a variety of video, pictures and text cause we all learn different. David im also an impatient person so when ever you wanna start getting that content up that would be great! (just kiddin)

The electric stand cant possibly cost in materials as much as they are being sold for. almost a grand for some. I can get two rollers for that much or one really nice one!

My pops and I used to transport my kart in the back of a Chevy Silverado, std cab and bed. Plenty of room for one kart a mid size toolbox, two gear boxes, tires, gas and kart stand. I would recommend a topper for it though. Makes it easier to travel with so you can lock away your kart if you eat or sleep some where.  Easy to load and unload to since the tailgate feel to same level as the kart on the stand. I will recommend that you spray or line the bed, and also brace the kart so it doesnt move other wise you’ll end up with scratches. (more than usual)

Yes i know your supposed to raise your hand. And as for the race day I was assuming there was no practicing going on, hence race day. If its a practice I could understand raising your hand. I still dont think that a fine would be the right way to go, all youll do with that is drive away those families that are barely making it to the race to begin with.

I wear the EVS, I was really skeptical at first but i got tired of choking myself out collar after collar. When I first put on the EVS it seemed way to loose and I thought it was to big. But I wore it out practicing in my Shifter. I will say what a difference. The side to side i use to get is all but gone. maybe an inch side to side with no give. And as far as going backwards, with the acceleration of the shifter kart I noticed that it stops the helmet and ultimately my neck just at the point where i think it getting to far back. The only thing that I havent felt yet is the forward support. But then again in a shifter kart your head is always pinned back…. HA.

As for lab results and testing I have neither seen or read any. If you want to be 100% sure i would go with a HANS device. I also agree with what the nurse says above.

Im so happy others agree with me. And instead of fines there are other ways of punishment that do just as good but dont cost money. This sport has gone from minor expense to full out budget crisis. You think fine will help with that?

on a side note why would you be entering or exiting the track during races? I could understand exits but those would be emergencies and corner flagmen should caution that and other drivers should yield. I also cant believe your race director allows people to enter during races? Thats just dangerous.

Yeah sure lets start handing out fines so we ultimately kill the sport all together. F1 is in a league way, way, way above karting. Mistakes happen, and consequences of those mistakes happen. As my dad always said “thats racing.” the black flag for the Naussa panel was correct action. nothing further needed. If you wanted to, maybe a tracking system for black/mechanical flags. ultimately baring someone from a race or season. Or give your race director the ability to take points, bar from track or races. Fining will just add another expense and the need to always have new. which i dont know about you but that doesnt make me want to race.
