Finch GuentherParticipant
I’d say the biggest reason for a carbon floor tray is to save weight as they are about half the weight of an aluminum tray. As far as handling I know the tillett carbon floor trays come in different strengths from stiff to super soft. Hope this helps.
Finch GuentherParticipantStill available
Finch GuentherParticipantBump. Make me an offer
Finch GuentherParticipantI’ve used the short ones for 2 seasons now and have zero complaints.
Finch GuentherParticipantBump
Finch GuentherParticipantSome may disagree but I would say the Vp would be a better choice. It’ll be much more consistent then pump gas and the lead is good for the bearings. As far as oil I would use a castor based oil for an air cooled engine mix at 8oz per gallon.
Finch GuentherParticipantIf you make a spec duro then people are just gonna buy every brand tire possible to test and find the tire with the best performance. That doesn’t seem very cost effective too me.
Finch GuentherParticipantIt is the mancup series.
Finch GuentherParticipantPretty sure WKA gave Yamaha pipe the axe a few weeks ago.
June 9, 2014 at 3:44 pm in reply to: IAME Leopard MY09 and KPV (new clutch) use same front sprocket? #28636Finch GuentherParticipantI’m not sure about the leopard but I know the X30 and the kpv use the same clutch drivers.
Finch GuentherParticipantIf your looking for a project then my opinion would to be what James suggested and by the motor in kit form. The kit comes from Honda in a box of 340+ parts. Again this is just my opinion.
Finch GuentherParticipantI don’t remember the exact number but my crg blackstar with a kpv is about 170-180lbs. I also have a very heavy motor mount cause I’m a little guy so maybe take 5lbs off of that.
Finch GuentherParticipantI would think two different weight oils would be fine. For example 0-20 Redline for qualifying and 5-20 Redline for racing but Im not sure I would run 2 different brand oils. This is just my personal opinion others may have more input on this though.
Finch GuentherParticipantI always ran Redline 5-20 in my wf with no issues but like others have said stick with what ever was used in it previously until you rebuild. We also did a lot of testing with they amount of oil used and found zero difference in power from 14oz to 18oz so you may as well run 18oz to be safe IMO.
Finch GuentherParticipantI agree with Tim. I just got mine not to long ago and love it. It’s very accurate and easy to read.
April 28, 2014 at 12:56 pm in reply to: recommend someone for Rotax Carb cleaning and rebuild #26451Finch GuentherParticipantWhy not just download a manual and do it yourself?
Finch GuentherParticipantI just scaled my blackstar with a kpv and it was about 160lbs. I’m not sure how much a rotax package weights but I wouldnt think it could be 40lbs heavier. But I maybe wrong
Finch GuentherParticipantThe actual size of the battery is going to depend on your battery tray. But any 12v 8ah sealed dry cell should work.
Finch GuentherParticipantemail sent
Finch GuentherParticipantpm me text me for pics and details 612-860-35358
Finch GuentherParticipantOur local track has garbage cans just for used tires. If you don’t mind a little work you can usually find some really good practice tires.
Finch GuentherParticipantI was there watching and I had a fantastic buzz all weekend…
