Anyone have a favorite hotel near the track?
Jack CookParticipantCount me in tag driver here
Jack CookParticipantThis Is the same track NCK will be racing on May 30
Jack CookParticipantPut the X30 on and will break it in next weekend sprint racing. The Rotax is in a box up for sale. I will take it and have it checked and resealed with a new passport. Thanks for everyone’s help at Willow Springs tring to get it going

Are there any tracks near you that have open testing during the week would work better for me.

April 16, 2015 at 8:10 am in reply to: Mint Condition Birel Honda CR125 Stock Moto Shifter Kart For Sale #46174Jack CookParticipantWhere are you located ?
Jack CookParticipantThank you. Now I have to get a bung to install EGT in the X30 header and how far back do you put it. Do you braze or tig weld it in ?
Jack CookParticipantIs this. one off or are you still making chassis ? If I can get the 450 quite enough dor some tracks out west. Would repowering it be a huge deal with chassis cutting ? i
Jack CookParticipantwhere are you at and how much are you asking
for
your package
Jack CookParticipantThank you. After yesterday when and a generator I will be charging and will pick up a second Li-Lon Battery text week. When I get to the to track this morning I have to change the carb set up back to what it was and start over
Jack CookParticipantI use simple green.
Jack CookParticipant<p style=”text-align: right;”>I have two Rapido’s one 2013 and 2015. How much do you weigh. r</p>
Jack CookParticipantI went to the NCK website and it lists nothing about Willow
Jack CookParticipantI’m Sorry I did not make myself clear. Not asking for a gear ratio for a track.
I am asking sprockets to have on hand. Rotax make drivers 11 to 16 do I need them all ? And the rear start at ? and go to ? like 70 tooth to 85 tooth ? that’s 15 rears do I need them all?
Jack CookParticipantThank you.
Jack CookParticipantI have run a 68 is the biggest gear. I have different drivers to get the ratio I want
Jack CookParticipantI am in the same boat 6ft 240lbs. I think the rule requires to run 6 inch tires. I am working on getting the kart to loosen up. Going wide in the rear helped until it started hopping in the rear. I run in a 365 weight class so I run in the back giving up 50lbs is hard to make up
good luck
Jack CookParticipantHi Chris
This can run in the same class as the 250 2 strokes ? I have no experience with super karts. I do race sprint karts Rotax and world formula. I have done a couple of road races and like it. I find it less demanding on the body. I do have a ton on motorcycle road racing experience. Btw I am 58 and 240 lbs but working on the weight. Do you think I should wait and get more RR experience before making the jump.
Jack CookParticipantHow much RR experience should you have before jumping to 250 super karts? I am thinking about doing a super kart I like the idea of a 4 stroke motor
Jack CookParticipantThank you for the info guest that was my first of many dumb questions.
Jack CookParticipantWhere is the Kart located ?
Jack CookParticipantI met both the other WF guys they were a great help. No the WF’s were not running oilers. In WF I am 50 lbs over weight there is no making up for that much weight penalty. I am having a new Tag kart built so the weight penalty won’t be so great. It will have front brakes. I’ll flip them off if I go sprint racing with it.
January 23, 2015 at 6:30 am in reply to: Billy’s 2014 TONY KART ‘RACER’ w/ MRC COMPLETE ENGINE PACKAGE #40933Jack CookParticipantIs this kart sold yet ?
Jack CookParticipantWhich would be real bad having a bead unseat going into the corkscrew.
