Gary Lawson – It’s hard to appreciate the value of a uspks event without attending. Laps/$ are very good and you have a lot of additional things going on. Cookouts, games etc
I agree with Gary, for the money spent you get a ton of track time but it’s easy to look at that entry amount and think it’s expensive when in reality the per lap charge is money well spent.
I told Mark Coats that you know each practice session is long enough when you pull off before the checkered is out.

Less is definitely more!
Steve,
With Mike Tetreault trying to revamp the Great Lakes Sprint Series, I would think your best bet would be to include 4 cycle classes with that series. I doubt a stand alone 4 cycle divisional would bring in enough entries to be viable for most tracks. LO206 at NCMP has been very strong this year, I just hope rules creep from doesn’t mess up a good thing.
Mark
Craig,
Yeah the OTK stuff can be a little different compared to how most of us use to free up karts. Softer is more grip, stiffer is less on an OTK kart as far as axles go. Front Bars are a huge tuning item, the karts are also very camber sensitive. The baseline of the kart is a very good place to start and even run it most of the time.
Mark
It sounds way back and a bit crooked.
My experience with the EVK is more for TaG class where we run it around 610 to 620. For a shifter I would be closer to 620 or even 630 if you need more rear grip. Some run the left side closer than the right. So maybe 620 and 625.
Also make sure you have double castor in the kart. Max top/bottom. Line up hash tags on the pill top and bottom with the little pill bolts as well, should put you around “0” camber.
I would think that would get you close.

Works like a charm.
Derek Dignan won a WKA race with an X30 at Mooresville.
Because if the Leopard went away you’d have a lot of people with $3000 boat anchors. The X30 is a quality package but making everyone switch wouldn’t be good for karting, it would have to be a gradual change over.
It must be the off season.
I used a standard Ribtect for the past several seasons with no issues but I hurt my ribs at NCMP in May and switched to the Ribtect 3. Even with hurt ribs I could still race using the Ribtect 3 so I highly recommend it. I wouldn’t be racing without it.
