WKA sprint is where the karts are. The yamaha class usually only has a few entries. You need to weight 360 for WKA Sprint with the yamaha.

Dunlop SL4 when you can get them, 550 on rear and 450 on front.  L4 is a good place to start, at 7.50 inches. Clutch will be 10,8 plus.

Its all about insurance and affordability.

With the WKA  holding the insurance the clubs are having a tough time paying for the track and associated costs of running the race.

There is much more to it than the average karter sees.

We don’t go to Road Atlanta because they have concrete barriers. We lost a really good guy there.

Sprint enduro racing requires a minimum of 7 quarts for the 30 minutes of racing. With the newer style seat it leaves very little room for a fuel tank. That is why i made one. If i could buy an off the shelf tank that would fit i would have. Problem is when the tank is full and the fuel sloshes it pulls air. Then you have a big bubble in the line. It either stumbles or builds heat or both.

    thank you for the feedback

The tank is custom made Aluminum.

7 1/2 qt. The pick up is a margay style coming in from the lower rear of the tank. The pick up is located well for a fixed pick up. I can do a wand style pick up from the top as Tony recommends, i have already bought the parts, but was hoping to get some feed back as to which method is best.

    hey All ,

    Got the GPS for Christmas.

The manual doesn’t say anything about a secondary battery but it comes with leads?

Do i need to run a secondary battery?

Can i use it with just the 9 V?

What does it take for a secondary battery?

Any help would be great, heading to Daytona tomorrow,  so looking for answers
