PitKit to Present EKN Live SummerNationals Broadcast

Trackside Live coverage to begin on Thursday, July 21

EKN Trackside Live logoThe eKartingNews.com staff is pleased to confirm that karting-specific tool kit designer ‘PitKit’ will partner with us as the title sponsor for our EKN Trackside Live broadcast of the upcoming Superkarts! USA SummerNationals at New Castle Motorsports Park.  David Cole and Rob Howden will be on-site throughout the weekend, providing unparalleled race coverage and live audio play-by-play that will be streamed through our EKN Live page on the site.  The race has the potential of being the biggest Pro Tour race in history, outside the SuperNationals, as SKUSA has confirmed that there are currently over 230 pre-entries for the July 22-24 event.  The deadline for online registration is this coming Sunday at 11:59 PDT.

PitKit’s Ben Johnston is a huge supporter of EKN and we feel the same way about his new venture, which is providing a new product line for the sport of karting.  PitKit is something new in the sport, offering a pair of kart-specific tool packages, the PitKit Lite and the Elite, with have been designed with the travelling mechanic in mind.  The kits feature Beta tools, organized in high-end portable cases.  These kits include the tools you actually need to work on karts, instead of a box full of useless equipment that never get touched.

PitKits are now being used by top tuners and club racers, all over the country. To learn more, check out their website – www.pitkitkarting.com

The EKN staff will be on-site at New Castle next Wednesday, although the event previews will be published beginning on Tuesday.  We’re heading to the track this weekend to kick things off with our second straight EKN Live event, as the WKA Manufacturers Cup heads to NCMP just one week following our coverage of the USPKS event at GoPro Motorplex in Mooresville, NC.  Don’t miss a single thing by following us on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram, and bookmarking www.ekartingnews.com/live as your online home for in-depth trackside coverage.
