Ron White Racing continued with its successful 2015 season, closing out the Sanzaru Games Karting Championship on November 1 at the Simraceway Performance Karting Center in Sonoma, California. The race team took home two victories at the series finale, locking up a vice-championship as well, helping to build momentum into the famous Superkarts! USA SuperNationals XIX in Las Vegas, and into the 2016 season.

Ron White Racing’s Patrick O’Neill continued his winning streak, welcoming it at the best time of the season. O’Neill qualified second in the Stock Honda Masters category, coming off a win last month in the category. A clutch issue on the opening lap of the Prefinal dropped Patrick to the tail of the very talented eight-driver field. Reaching sixth by the checkered flag, O’Neill started the main from outside row three. After a rough couple of first laps, Patrick settled himself and his RWR CRG down and began inching his way forward. He reached the second position by lap 14, and took over the lead as the white flag came out. Holding on through the final lap, O’Neill secured his second straight series victory, third straight including the big Super Masters victory at the Streets of Lancaster Grand Prix. Kevin Woods continued to make strides throughout the weekend, and was running near the front until a collision pushed him down the order. His lap times however were equal, if not better than some of the podium finishers showing the speed of his RWR CRG.

White made his first start of 2015 with the series, and nearly swept the tough and experienced competition. Three former SKUSA SuperNationals winners qualified in the top-four, with White in the second position. He went on to score the win in the Prefinal, and led all 20 laps of the Final to clinch the victory by four tenths of a second. The event served as a great warm-up for the upcoming SuperNationals, as White continues to fight for a chance at the podium and top-three in the Fikse Wheels Pro Tour standings.

Micro Max racer Owen McAllister was in position to record his fourth victory of the season, hoping to help his cause in the championship chase. McAllister qualified first by just 79 thousandths of a second in his RWR-tuned Tony Kart, leading all 10 laps of the Prefinal to win by just 88 thousandths at the checkered flag. Owen showed the way for the first 11 laps of the main event, until contact with the championship rival dropped them down the order. McAllister recovered to end up fourth, one step off the podium. When the final points were tallied for the season, Owen earned the vice-champion position, and was honored at the year-end ceremonies.

Ron White Racing now focuses its attention to the bright lights of Las Vegas, and the 19th edition of the Superkarts! USA SuperNationals, held for the first time at the Las Vegas Convention Center and the Westgate Las Vegas Resort & Casino. Mr. White himself is schedule to compete in the S1 Pro Stock Moto category, vying for the $10,000 first place cash prize and a spot on the Fikse Wheels Pro Tour podium. Former SuperNationals winner Brian Keck will join him in the headline division. Patrick O’Neill and Kevin Woods are set to compete in the competitive S4 Master Stock Moto division, with Formula Car Challenge Pro Mazda champion Cabot Bigham representing the team in the stacked S2 Semi-Pro Stock Moto class.
