Hey guys. I have two Tomar TD 22-2 clutches for sale- one is basically new and the other one is used with some new parts. Both have springs and weights for 7800-8800 RPM stall speeds. We’ve had poles, fast laps, and wins with this clutch at technical and wide open tracks. These sell new for $295 or more each, but please continue to read for a great deal.

One was installed on our motor once for testing and has been packed up and kept exclusively as our spare. It was never used after testing. I used the new friction disks from this one in our primary clutch and put used disks back in this one, but it’s race ready with hundreds of laps left on the used disks, and basically brand new otherwise. I’m asking $185 for this one and you can take your pick between a 10 & 11 tooth drum with great bushings if neither have sold yet. I will text or email close up pictures if you’re interested.

The second one has been used for all practice sessions and races in the season and a half that my son raced in the Yamaha Sportsman class. I’m putting a new weight holder on it since the old one got hit by the chain when it came off a couple times. The weights are scratched up but it works excellent. I don’t want to spend any more to fix a cosmetic issue, but I’m only asking $160 for this one since it doesn’t look brand new. I will also email or text pictures of this one, but it’s at Tomar getting serviced right now so it may take a few days to get more pictures. I do have one picture of this one that I took before I sent it to Tomar, which clearly shows the scratches on the weights. I can text or email that one any time.

I have some spare parts and clutch tools too, so you’ll have everything you need to work on these if you buy this as a package, and I’m willing to sell both clutches and all of the extras for $340 if someone hasn’t already bought any of it. It’s around $800 worth of equipment when purchased new. Complete package would include:

2 Tomar TD 22-2 clutches

1 10 tooth driver/ drum with great bushing

1 11 tooth driver/ drum with great bushing

2 11 tooth drivers/ drums with good bushings

2 different crankshaft spacers

4 new spare smaller weights

4  new spare springs

1 Tomar clutch remover tool for TD22

1 Tomar clutch wrench for TD22

4 extra spare used friction disks with hundreds of laps left on them. We never went below about half of the friction surface on any of these disks.

These clutches are as good or better than anything on the market for Yamaha classes up through Sportsman. We even tested the used clutch on a Yamaha Junior kart with a big carb and had good results.

This is a ridiculous deal for somebody. I can ship this inexpensively via USPS at buyer’s expense, but I will not ship outside of the lower 48 states in the US, and I’ll only accept Pay Pal or cash depending on where you are. Please reply if you’re interested.
