June Florida Karting Championship Series Event to be Rescheduled
The Florida Karting Championship Series June race will be rescheduled to a later date. After being informed that the Orlando track would not be available on the date we needed we began working with the people at Palm Beach Kart Center. An agreement was reached for the June 19th thru 21st race. However the track has changed hands and the new management has uncovered many safety and operational problems with the track that make it impossible to have a race in such a short time frame. They have made it clear that they will work with us for a date at the PBKC as soon as possible. We are also finalizing agreements for at least two additional races for this year and will post the information as it becomes available. I assure you that the FKCS is going strong and working hard to bring all of our member/racers a great season. We would like to thank everyone for their patience and understanding. Like all of you we just wanna race. As you can see in the next article, we are still receiving new sponsors and will be bring you great racing this year.
We are pleased to announce a new sponsor for the series. Wayne Conn Plumbing has donated $1500 to be used as cash prizes during our next 3 races. On behalf of the racers of the FKCS, many thanks to Vernon Sparks for the generous donation.
