If I was a betting guy that a third temp track would go on the ProTour, because I think you’re right Modesto isn’t going to be a one year deal.

Why would they race a track that costs to rent when they can put on a street race or parking lot race on and get it for no cost? This is only my own opinion and I don’t have proof that its for no fee to run a street race, but it does make sense. I will say this, Patti Kutcher does a amazing job with all her crew in registration prior to the event and during the event! I have a lot of respect for Patti and Tom for all the preparation prior to each event!

I can’t believe the carnage from Modesto.  Someone said 13 wrecked chassis by mid day Saturday.  Is that even possible?  I’ve seen several videos of flips and serious wrecks.  Yikes!

I wonder – will we see SKUSA/PKC events on the other coast; East/southeast/Florida?

Photos and Videos are all over Facebook, Twiitter and Instagram.   I’d guess 15-20 karts have bene destroyed so far.

I give Tom kudos for having the ambition to bring karting to the public like this and to shoot for the stars.  Sometimes you hit the target.  Sometimes you miss.     I can tell you that the SKUSA! crew worked their asses off to put on this race.  It would have been much easier on them  to have it at an established track.  But that would be settling and mediocre.  Tom is anything but mediocre.

I think Tom needs to add one more race to the national schedule to complete the national series. Start the year with the Winter Nationals in Florida. An obvious choice, most big teams are already running the FWT. Or Mooresville. There is your East coast race in February or March. Then on to the Spring Nationals in the Middle part of the country. Texas or Colorado seemed to work. Then the Summers on the west coast. Ariz, Cali, or Utah. Then off to the one and only USA Party town for the finals. Just a thought!
