      Im sure you are speaking of a 15 v 18 with the same ratio ie 15/60 and 18/72. Oval racers will swear the 18 has better straight speed once you get wound up but the 15 accelerates better. Actual ratio is more important to me but I think the smaller combo does accelerate a little better

      Yes it will build RPM (not rpm’s :-) ) faster with a smaller sprocket on the clutch. Do the math, 15 vs. 18 is a lower gearing.
