There is a front straight by the pits that is about 600ft … if you look at the map when they open up the full course the back straight goes about 700ft+ then sweeps to the right but it is almost an all out sweeper with light blips off the throttle. That whole section is good amount of feet.
If they close the full course the track becomes more tight with about a 600ft + straight.
Go with the longest silencer you can fit. They have very strict noise restrictions down there an 8″ may get you black flaged. They very rarely go to full track. With the normal track configuration I don’t thing a longer silencer will be a problem.
Thanks guys .. @ Brian ..I didn’t think about the noise restrictions .. with that said I’ll most likely go with the 12″ Alden A3.
What about pipe – Stephen you mentioned going with the TC4 .. is this the better choice over a TC8? I am not well versed on these pipes.. what is the difference?
Thanks again,
Yes be carefull Derek here is the link to requirements http://www.andersenracepark.com/Testing.aspx Years ago they required all shifters including moto to have an ICC silencer. They’ve relaxed that but if your to loud they will want a longer silencer and air box. When they get a complaint they start enforcing it a little more so it’s best to try to get as quite as possible right at the start. I’m in garage 8 over there stop by and say hi.
