They both look like Heims to me… There would be very little deflection rigidity on a 12mm aluminum rod… What happens when a corner is deflected upward, the distance from that rear point is increased. That handle at the back has a set screw at the top. It looks like they can limit the amount each corner deflects with that adjustment. It’s working like the front torsion bar, but can be micro tuned…..
