The T4 Nations Cup 2026 took place at the Kartodromo Internacional Lucas Guerrero facility outside Valencia, Spain over October 1-4. The 2026 edition features a record setting 295 drivers from 35 countries battling in four categories with hopes of becoming a T4 world champion.

A total of 22 drivers from the United States of America represented the Red, White and Blue over the weekend which featured a format change after flood warnings cancelled the action on Friday. Competitors completed four rounds of practice on Thursday before spending Friday off at hotels, malls, and touring the region. The revised schedule put qualifying on Saturday with the first portion of heats. The remaining heats, Super Heat and Finals were contested on Sunday.

Overall, the results were strong for Team USA, welcoming Derek Wargo as the Senior champion along with Aiden Harbaugh and Brody Stoffle top five in Mini to help the team earn the 2026 T4 Nations Cup Trophy for a second time in four years.

There was a lot that I learned throughout the experience. With this being my first time at the track I noticed how smooth and fast flowing it was all around. We had speed from the very first session and then carried that into qualifying. The event itself was very good once we got through a couple hiccups with timing and scoring other than that it was a blessing to compete for team USA. Overall, I had done very well in the heats except for the first one getting ran over in the final chicane. From that point forward we had a stout next 4 heats. In the Final by turn 7 I had got hooked from behind and spun taking me out of contention to progress forward. All and all an amazing experience had a long ride of every emotion possible and truly blessed to be able to participate and be able to bring home the nations cup to the USA!!

“This year’s T4 Nations Cup was a very tough weekend for most of us. From the get go, I struggled with engine problems that hindered our performances the entire week. Qualifying was tricky with slick tires on drying track, with one little mistake costing me pole position. From there, I’d say 80% of my Heat races were very positive, with several of my heats involving a crash where I had to come back through the field. After what seemed like our issues were fixed after Heat 5, we started 8th for the Final with what was looking like a promising race considering our pace on Sunday. Unfortunately, we experienced engine and kart issues that kicked us down. It was very disappointing, considering my streak of bad luck continues in the T4 Nations Cup these past few years. However, I can’t explain how proud I am of the entirety of Team USA. I am so proud to be a mentor for these young kids and help them on the international stage.”

This was my first big race as I only did local / club races before. I was super grateful to be there and be competing on the world stage. Just soaking in the moment and enjoying every second. The track is phenomenal and the experience was once of a lifetime. I’m happy with my performance against the best in the world, even though I think the my pace was better than the achieved result. I ended up with the fastest lap of the race. But at end very grateful to have participated and big thanks to Jake and Jeyson and Luke from T4 KartPlex for all the support during the event.

“I thought it was a great event and experience. I feel that most of the negative things about it, being the cancellations and rescheduling, were outside of the control of those managing the event, and that they tried their best to ensure that we were able to race as much as possible. Regardless of those complications, I think that it was still a great time. Being here last year gave me a bit of a head-start, not having to learn the basics of the track, so I did a lot better during practice and the heats. In the sessions that mattered, my quali session wasn’t that bad considering that they’re usually my worst performance of the weekend. In my heats, I was able to find my ability to extract as much out of the kart as possible in order to pass. I feel that my starts improved drastically as well. I got caught up in a few incidents though, during them, which meant that I couldn’t start as high up on the grid as I had hoped for the final. In the final, I felt like I had lost whatever made me so fast in the heats, leading to my bad performance. Although I was happy to make the finals, I was expecting more from myself and aiming for a podium here.”

“In my opinion, I really liked the track that was picked for this event. Drivers are able to pass in almost every corner, leading to some exciting battles. Drafting being strong at this track also meant that if drivers were able to trust each other, they could work past other drivers relatively easily. The layout of the first few corners gave the outside lane an equal opportunity to the inside to make a pass, leading to some exciting starts. However, the starts also led to a lot of incidents, which can be frustrating for the drivers behind. The track has a good amount of technicality to make drivers have to devote a lot of effort to learning it. I had a great time at the event and am looking forward to the possibility of going to the next one in South Garda.”

“I started karting last year and won the FKL World Championship in my first year. Heading into my second year, I wanted to show real progress in karting. Because karting is so expensive, I was looking for an opportunity where talent could speak for itself on equal equipment. That is why racing in the T4 Nations Cup was so important to me. It was my first international race at age 11. I am proud to have finished as the top-scoring Team USA Junior driver. Although I had the pace to fight for a top five finish, a crash in Heat 2 resulted in a DNF and cost me valuable points. While it is not a podium finish yet, I am proud of the progress I demonstrated. Most of all, I love being in a kart and enjoying every lap.”

“I like competing in the Tillotson racing series because the rules make it more about the driver ability, and less about if today is a ‘N’ axle day or an ‘O’ day. There are sometimes teams at other events with multiple chassis, 4 or 5 engines, professional coaches, mechanics… but here, we’re all in the same boat; have one engine, the same axle, rims and seat the kart came with! I had a blast competing at Kartodromo Internacional Lucas Guerrero! The chicanes were high speed made good passing zones and were my favorite part. We were given three choices of gears to use, so there is still some strategy, and you can adjust or adapt to different driving styles. The mini field was filled with talented drivers from all over the world, everyone was giving it their all to go fast and gain as many positions whenever we were on track. We might be from different countries, have accents or speak different languages, but on the track, we are all just racers! I was unsure of what to expect, so my goal was to try my best every time on track, at every apex and down every straight. My dad and I evaluate my performance between sessions using an app called Lap Snap connected to the AIM MyChron 6 on our kart to see areas to improve for the next session. I was ecstatic with my performance in the heat races, super heat and final, and honored to be part of team USA.”

“I loved the experience. The track was great, and this was my first time racing the T4 package, so it was a really exciting weekend for me. My mechanic, Phil, was very proud of my driving all weekend, which meant a lot to me. It was also my first time racing outside of the USA, which made the experience even more special. It was an unbelievable experience racing against drivers from all over the world and being able to hold my own against such strong competition. For the Nations Cup Championship, the points from the top three drivers representing each country counted toward their country’s overall championship total. I was really happy to be one of those drivers which had my Super Heat and Final finishes contribute to the USA’s total for the WIN! I’m really proud of the entire Team USA and what we accomplished together. It was an amazing experience and something I’ll always remember.”
