Factory Karts continues its growth under the new American Kart Manufacturers Inc. (AKM) as the leading brand for the American-based chassis manufacturer. Throughout the 2026 season, the single speed (SS 2.0), shifter and the DD2 models have produced results at the national level. All have been part of the evolution of the chassis brand from its original designs and manufacturing process. With the new home in Phoenix, Arizona, Factory Karts continue that advancement with the launch of the 4C 2.0.

The updated version of the 4-Cycle chassis for Factory Karts features changes in the tubing size, tubing material and geometry of the complete design. The Factory Karts 4C is produced with 1.25-inch tubing for all the main rails with an updating steering box system to provide adjustability as well as allow the ability to switch between 8.5L and 3.5L fuel tanks.

One of the main design updates includes a two outside cassette assembly for the rear axle with no third cassette, including full wheelbase and ride height adjustment. The front end includes 17mm spindles with MCP brake system included with DWT SE wheels, the standard for the model.

Speaking with Justin Stefani of American Kart Manufacturers Inc., the new Factory Karts 4C was developed with Evinco and Hoosier tires during the majority of the testing with ‘fact check’ on Vega tires once the chassis model was solidified to ensure compliance across all tire brands. The general platform of the Factory Karts 4C is based off the success of the SS 2.0 model that has won in different platforms across the country.

Stefani also told EKN that they are perusing the process to have Factory Karts homologated through the CIK-FIA. This process would allow for Factory Kart models to be utilized in international competition. EKN will continue to follow up with Factory Karts on this development.
