The third and final stop on the 2026 Cup Karts North America Canada Division schedule sent the growing program to the Karting Trois-Rivières facility in Quebec. A record setting 174 entries battled changing weather conditions all weekend long in the seven categories to complete the fifth and sixth rounds of the championship series.

During the weekend, series founder Gerald Caseley announced the return of the CKNA Canadian Four-Cycle Nationals for 2027, heading to Académie TAG Karting in Mont-Tremblant, Quebec over the May 28-30 weekend. “We’re excited to officially announce we signed the deal with Adrian, Sylvain and the crew at Académie TAG Karting to bring the Cup Karts Canada Canadian Four-Cycle Nationals back to Mont-Tremblant for a second year,” stated Caseley. “Last year, we had 252 entries for our first Nationals. This year, we would love to break 300. That would be pretty awesome and would say a lot about how far four-cycle karting has come in Canada. Once again, we’ll be racing for The Summit. It will be the same championship trophy as last year. I think it’s safe to say that everyone wants one. We moved the event a couple of weeks later, hoping we won’t get caught by the weather. We’re really looking forward to going back and doing it all over again. It’s going to be a big one.”

On track, Senior Light welcomed its highest total of the season with 59 drivers fighting for podium spots. The class was broken into three groups for qualifying each day. Saturday saw Major Makovskis secure the RLV Fastest Qualifier award with a time of 1:01.580. The field was then broken up into two heat race groups. Makovskis and Steven Szigeti won the heat races for Group A while Kevin King doubled up in the Group B heats. Twenty-three drivers ran in the B-Main, won by Eric Bellemare. The A-Main of 36 drivers took on the 12-lap Feature Szigeti out to the lead. Round Four winner Hudson Jack Urlin took over the point on lap three before two-time winner Sebastian Day claimed the top spot two laps later. Day led until lap 10 when Makovskis assumed the lead. Leading the final laps, Makovskis secured his first victory of the season, edging out Day by 40 thousandths at the line. Szigeti completed the podium with Isaac Teed up to fourth and Malex Richard in fifth. Bastien Bouchard came out of qualifying on Sunday with the RLV Fastest Qualifier award, recording a 59.431 lap. It was Day and King that led the way in the two heat races based on the split groups. Arnaud Lepage came away with the B-Main victory in the 15-lap race before the A-Main ran 15 laps. Day controlled the action, leading green-to-checkered for his third victory of the season. Makovskis was runner-up with King in third. Urlin and Simon Belanger completed the top five.

The Senior Medium category welcomed 24 drivers on the weekend, featuring two new winners on the season. Pierre Mark Couture secured the RLV Fastest Qualifier award in wet conditions but it was Round One winner Hudson Jack Urlin leading the way in the two heat races. Urlin was followed over the first nine laps of the Feature by Marc Stehle. With three laps remaining, the battle for the victory began with Couture also in the mix. Stehle was able to secure the top spot and take the victory by half a second over Urlin. Couture was third at the line with Mindy Croteau fourth and Max Franceschelli in fifth. Couture was able to sweep the action on Sunday, beginning with the RLV Fastest Qualifier award, edging out John Wade by 29 thousandths. After winning the heat race by a slim margin over Wade, the two went 1-2 for the entire 15-lap Feature. Couture took his first victory of the season by just over a tenth ahead of Wade. Stehle was third on the podium with Bastien Bouchard and Christopher Mitchell rounding out the top five.

Four drivers over the weekend were able to double up in the win column, including Junior driver Jamie Stewien. It was a near sweep of the weekend for Round One winner Stewien, with the Saturday qualifying the only session not in the P1 position. Ayrton Kutcher earned the RLV Fastest Qualifier award with Stewien outside the fast five. Stewien drove up to the win in the opening heat race and led all eight laps in Heat Two. Leading all 12 laps, Stewien earned a second victory on the season by over one second. Round Four winner Kegan Irwin was second with two-time winner Cole Campin in third. Jackson Cadney and Kutcher completed the top five. Stewien returned to the top of the time charts on Sunday, earning the RLV Fastest Qualifier award thanks to edging out Cody Shaw by 83 thousandths. Stewien was perfect on the day, leading every lap of the heat race and all 15 laps of the Feature for the victory. Irwin and Giordano Marateo stood on the podium with Campin fourth and Shaw fifth.

Eli Yanko completed a perfect six for six in main events for the Legends class. Saturday was a sweep of the Round Five action with Yanko securing the RLV Fastest Qualifier award, winning the two heat races and leading all 12 laps of the Feature. Jamie MacArthur was second with Barry Nickerson on the podium in third. Simon Pepin and Stephen Goebel rounded out the top five. Yanko found himself sixth in the Sunday qualifying session as MacArthur claimed the RLV Fastest Qualifier award. Second in the order was Goebel, who led all 10 laps of the heat race. Yanko was up one spot to fifth, recording the fast lap of the race. By lap six of the 15-lap Feature, Yanko took over the lead from Goebel. From there, Yanko led the rest of the way for a sixth straight victory. Goebel was second while MacArthur was third, recording a sixth straight podium finish. Nickerson was fourth with Carl Boulianne in fifth.

Cadet was led on the weekend by Tom Gagnon. In his season debut, Gagnon opened up Saturday clearing the field by over one second to earn the RLV Fastest Qualifier award. Contact in the opening heat race dropped Gagnon back to 15th in the 20-kart field with Samuel Thibault taking the win. Gagnon came up through the field in the eight-lap second heat to claim the win before leading all 12 laps of the Feature for his first series victory on the season. Chase Robar and Matteo Caron joined him on the podium with Cayson Misener fourth and Levi Shepker in fifth. Gagnon swept the action on Sunday, clearing the field by eight tenths for the RLV Fastest Qualifier award. Winning the heat race by over seven seconds, Gagnon put in a wire-to-wire performance in the 15 lap Feature for a second win on the weekend. William Boulerice was second with Julien Victor in third. Caron and Rober completed the top five.

The Senior Heavy category was a two driver battle all weekend. Round Three winner Carson Bartlett edged out Gregory Paquin by 98 thousandths for the Saturday RLV Fastest Qualifier award. Bartlett went on to win both heat races with Jason Rothman second. Bartlett led the first 10 laps of the Feature before Rothman led the final two, securing victory in his season debut. Bartlett settled for second with Round One winner Noah Van Straten in third. Gregory Paquin and Eric Bos rounded out the top five. Sunday were similar results with Bartlett the RLV Fastest Qualifier award winner and taking the top spot in the heat race. Rothman was second in both sessions but took over the lead quickly in the 15-lap Feature. Leading 14 of the 15 laps, Rothman landed on top of the podium for a second time on the weekend. Van Straten improved to second with Andrew Seggie third on the podium. Bos was fourth with Bartlett back to fifth.

Multiple drivers were in the mix for the top spot in Masters. Mathieu Demers led the 11-driver field to open up Saturday with the RLV Fastest Qualifier award, edging out Kevin McCathie by 65 thousandths. Three-time winner Eric Lessard improved from fourth to win the opening heat race while Patrick Boyer completed the same feat in the second heat race. Boyer would lead all 12 laps of the Feature, recording victory in his season debut. Dany Desmarais and Benoit Barry joined him on the podium with Maxime Veillette and Todd Musker completing the top five. Round Four winner Corey Walsh picked up the pace on Sunday to sweep the action. Walsh took the RLV Fastest Qualifier award in qualifying and led all 10 laps of the heat race. He completed the perfect score on the day, leading all 15 laps and recording fast lap of the Feature to claim a second victory on the season. McCathie was second with Boyer third. Lessard ended up fourth ahead of Mathieu Martin.
