Spectacular Season Set as New Circuits Join Legendary Tracks on 2027 FIA Karting Calendar

FIA Karting has today confirmed the 2027 calendar following approval from the World Motor Sport Council. The calendar features new circuits, a return to some of the most iconic karting tracks in the world and concludes with the staging of the 2027 Mondokart.com FIA Karting World Championships in Ugento, Italy and Sakhir, Bahrain.

The 2027 FIA Karting season will get underway in April next year with a welcome return to the Zuera International Circuit which last featured on the FIA Karting calendar in 2023. The Spanish circuit is currently undergoing modifications before it hosts the opening round of the 2027 Mondokart.com FIA Karting European Championship for OK and Junior drivers.

Kristianstad in Sweden and Genk in Belgium remain on the European Championship calendar for 2027 whilst Wackersdorf in Germany and Trinec in the Czech Republic return to the calendar following their last appearances in 2023.

The iconic Silverstone circuit in the UK makes its debut on the FIA Karting calendar after the British Formula 1 track opened a karting circuit earlier this year. The new facility includes a section of the track which takes in Bridge corner from Silverstone’s 1991-2009 Grand Prix circuit and will host the second round of the 2027 Mondokart.com FIA Karting European Championship for OK and Junior drivers in May 2027.

Following the conclusion of the European season, the Karting staple of the Circuito Internazionale Napoli will host the 2027 FIA Karting World Cup – OK-N and OK-NJ which will also include the conclusion of the 2026 FIA Karting Academy Trophy season that will again comprise of three rounds for each the junior and senior category.

The Pista Salentina circuit in Ugento, Southern Italy be back on the FIA Karting calendar in October as it hosts the 2027 Mondokart.com FIA Karting World Championship – KZ, a World Championship it organised exactly 30 years earlier when the category was named “Forumla C”. The FIA Karting paddock will then travel to Bahrain for the prestigious OK and Junior World Championship in November which will conclude the traditional FIA Karting season.
