Following the successful execution of the completed Rotax events of the 2026 season, Karting Solutions Group and TPK Promotions have announced that their event-operations partnership will continue on an indefinite basis beginning with the upcoming RMC Trophy Final.

The relationship was initially introduced as part of a broader effort to improve scheduling in North America. The goal being to reduce logistical burdens for teams and competitors and create greater operational consistency between major national karting series. The first two weekends conducted under the new structure have demonstrated the value of that approach, providing both organizations with the confidence to continue and expand the partnership moving forward.

Under the agreement, TPK Promotions will continue to provide Rotax with access to key components of its established national-event infrastructure, including Evinco Tires, experienced event personnel, logistics, timing and scoring resources, technical support, and other trackside services. KSG will continue its successful engine management and support on the Rotax side of things.

Rotax will continue to operate as a completely independent national championship under the ownership and direction of Karting Solutions Group, the sole United States distributor for Rotax. KSG will remain responsible for the identity, sporting direction, championship structure, competitor programs and overall development of the Rotax platform.

The expanded relationship does not alter the identity or direction of the Superkarts! USA Pro Tour. The SKUSA Pro Tour will remain an IAME-based national championship, operating with its existing class structure, rules, format and championship identity. The two programs will remain separate racing series while benefiting, where appropriate, from shared operational resources and the experience of the TPK Promotions team.

“This relationship was built around a straightforward idea: take the strongest operational resources available and use them to create a better experience for racers, teams and families,” said TPK’s Tom Kutscher “The opening events showed that the concept works. Rotax maintains its own identity and championship direction, while our team provides the personnel, equipment and operational foundation needed to execute events at a consistently high level.”

The collaboration grew from the strategic alignment announced ahead of the 2026 season, which placed Rotax events alongside SKUSA Pro Tour weekends to help teams streamline transportation, staffing and travel. The early events provided an opportunity to evaluate the structure under actual race-weekend conditions and identify where shared resources could deliver the greatest benefit.

Based on the success of those initial events, the organizations have agreed that TPK Promotions will remain an integral part of Rotax event operations beyond the original trial period.

“We approached the first part of the season as an opportunity to prove the model,” said Duke Vander Ark of Karting Solutions Group. “What we have seen through the opening events is that combining KSG’s vision for the Rotax program with TPK’s experience and event infrastructure creates a stronger product for our competitors. The events remain unmistakably Rotax, but they are supported by one of the most experienced operational teams in American karting.”

Vander Ark continued, “KSG remains the owner and promoter of Race Rotax and the sole U.S. distributor for Rotax. That has not changed. What has changed is the depth of resources available to execute our race weekends. Based on the early results, we believe this is the right structure for the future of the program.”

The partnership is intended to deliver greater consistency from event to event while allowing each organization to focus on its individual strengths. KSG will continue developing the Rotax championship, its driver-development pathway and its connection to the international Rotax MAX Challenge, while TPK Promotions will support the execution of the events through its established personnel, systems and logistical capabilities.

“This is not a combination of two racing series,” added Sean Scott of Karting Solutions Group. “The SKUSA Pro Tour remains the SKUSA Pro Tour, and Race Rotax remains Race Rotax. They have different engines, different championship structures and different identities. The benefit is behind the scenes, where cooperation allows both organizations to operate more efficiently and provide competitors with a professional, dependable race-weekend experience.”
