Bushnell Motorsports Park Put on Market for Sale

Bushnell Motorsports Park

Bushnell Motorsports Park, a successful multi-use motorsports facility in Central Florida, is now being offered for sale. Located in Bushnell, Florida just off I-75, the property is a rare opportunity for racers, investors, powersports operators, entertainment groups, and developers to acquire an established destination with significant infrastructure already in place.

Positioned just over an hour from Orlando and Tampa and minutes from the rapidly growing Villages market, BMP sits in one of Central Florida’s strongest growth corridors. Sumter County continues to benefit from residential expansion, infrastructure investment, and rising demand for outdoor recreation, entertainment, and specialty-use real estate.

Current Bushnell Motorsports Park owner Bret Spaude provided additional information regarding the property going on the market, “Karting has been my entire life. My wife and I love what we do, we’ve made lifelong friends at this track, and we couldn’t be prouder of what BMP has become.”

“We want people to understand we’re not leaving the sport, we’ll always be heavily involved in karting and motorsports, through Cup Karts North America and through new ventures we’re excited about. The truth is we’re happy either way; we love running BMP and would gladly keep it, but the right buyer would free us to put that same passion into what’s next. Happy to keep it, happy to sell it — either way, karting is home.”

Spaude continued, “The right buyer is important. A motorsports enthusiast who is looking to buy a complete operation, or a current owner who is looking to add to their portfolio of facilities. The priority is to keep it in the motorsports family and to keep it a place where families and racers consider home.”

The Property

Bushnell Motorsports Park

The property consists of approximately 20 acres zoned General Commercial/Racetrack, anchored by a 9,600-square-foot building with paved parking. The facility features a 2/3-mile asphalt track, approximately 1 acre of packed asphalt paddock, and approximately 1.5 acres of grass parking. The paddock and event areas include parking area lighting, RV hookup sites, bathrooms, registration space, and a scoring tower — the infrastructure needed to support daily operations, race events, private rentals, and large motorsports gatherings. The property also includes approximately 1,200 square feet of retail space, currently vacant and available for an outside vendor.

More Than a Kart Track

Originally built in 2015, Bushnell Motorsports Park was designed to be more than a kart track, and it has grown into a true motorsports hub serving multiple segments of the racing community: arrive-and-drive rental karting customers, owner kart racers, motorcycle riders, private testing groups, corporate events, facility rentals, and special events.

BMP’s rental karting program provides a strong foundation of consistent customer traffic, introducing new drivers, families, groups, and corporate customers to the facility year-round. Signature events include popular rental karting leagues, endurance races, and the 24 Hours of Bushnell, which draws competitors and enthusiasts from across the region. At the same time, the venue remains deeply connected to the owner kart and racing community, offering a purpose-built environment for competitive karting, practice, testing, driver development, and race events.

One of the facility’s most distinctive advantages is its place in the motorcycle and mini bike scene. BMP is the only track in Central Florida — and one of very few anywhere in the Southeast — that allows supermoto and mini bikes on a regular, daily open-riding basis, rather than restricting access to scheduled event nights or members-only clubs. That access has built a loyal rider base that travels from across the country, because comparable daily-access options simply don’t exist— giving a new owner an established and difficult-to-replicate customer segment from day one.

The property also includes a 5-acre motocross track, expanding the facility beyond pavement racing and creating additional opportunities for training, rentals, events, rider development, and powersports programming.

Recent Improvements

Recent upgrades add even more strength to the offering, including new LED track lighting and 10 new garage rental units. Ongoing infrastructure enhancements include expanded electrical service in the pit area to accommodate larger RV hookups, plus trackside coaching rooms available to teams and coaches who want private workspace during events and testing. These improvements support private testing, garage income, team services, long-term customer use, and expanded event programming.

A Turnkey Operation That’s Hard to Duplicate

The scale and flexibility of the property make it especially difficult to replicate. With multiple track configurations, paddock space, spectator areas, parking, service buildings, utilities, garage units, lighting, and room for future expansion, BMP is fully operational today while still offering meaningful upside. The property is zoned to support nearly any type of motorsports event a buyer can imagine:

  • Arrive-and-drive rental karting
  • Competitive owner kart racing
  • Mini bike and supermoto riding
  • Motocross activity
  • Private track rentals
  • Corporate events and group outings
  • Manufacturer and product testing
  • Driver and rider training
  • Garage rentals
  • Night racing and evening events
  • Team testing and coaching programs
  • Motorsports festivals and special events

Unlike many motorsports properties that require significant development, permitting, or infrastructure investment before they can open, BMP brings together what buyers usually have to choose between: stable, day-one cash flow and real room to grow. It’s fully built and generating revenue across multiple segments right now — a new owner can step in and continue operations immediately.

There is also meaningful room for growth: the roughly 1,200 square feet of retail space sits vacant and ready for a vendor or in-house pro shop, additional acreage and event space leave room to expand programming and garage rentals, and established streams like corporate events, team services, private testing, and large-scale festivals are proven but far from maximized.

Opportunities like this are rare. Bushnell Motorsports Park is an operating motorsports destination, a flexible land asset, and a growth platform in one of Florida’s most active markets — all in one.
