The 2026 ROK Cup USA ROK Sonoma Triple Crown 1 program concluded this month, hosting three rounds of racing over the past three months. The Sonoma Raceway facility welcomed the ROK Sonoma Triple Crown 1 series on March 14-15, April 11-12, and May 2-3 for a three-round championship format to open up the 2026 season. Seven drivers were able to secure the title prizes that included ROK Cup Superfinal tickets and passes to ROK Vegas 2026 along with the rest of the championship podium finishers enjoying other prizes.

Three different drivers won in the ROK VLR Senior category over the three rounds of racing however, it was consistency that secured the title. Stephen Eisert was a front runner all three rounds to claim the Triple Crown 1 title. Eisert was third in Round One, second in Round Two and fifth at the finale to earn the most points over the three rounds. Cole Anderson stood on the podium in the final two rounds to finish 20 points behind for second in the standings. Josh Leslie had two top five results to end up third in the title chase.

Three straight podiums helped to put Neev Adesra on top of the ROK VLR Junior championship standings. Adesra recorded two runner-up finishes and a third place result in Round Three to claim the Triple Crown 1 title. Round One winner Koa Saito and Johnny Congistre were only 10 points back in the final standings. Saito had one other podium result with runner-up at the finale while Congistre was third at Round Two for a best finish in three rounds.

ROK VLR Masters was swept over the three rounds by Dan Jones. He earned maximum points for all three rounds to secure the championship by 165 points over Abdul Ahmed, who scored three top five results. Denis Dumanov landed on the podium in the final two rounds to end up third in the standings.

Riding on wins at the final two rounds, Lucas Tarango secured the championship in the ROK Mini category. Three top five results in total, Tarango earned the title by 120 points over Braxton Shiflett. The finale was Shiflett’s best result, placing runner-up to Tarango to go with his two top five finishes. Cole Harris finished third in the standings, recording a best result of third in Round Two to beat out Round One winner Benjamin Tavi.

ROK Micro had three different winners over the three rounds of racing. Round One victor Franco Morales stood on the podium all three rounds to earn the championship. Morales was runner-up in the final two rounds to secure the title by 75 points over Renzo Abarca-Zuniga. Two podiums over the three main events for Abarca-Zuniga with a best finish of second place in the opening weekend. Round Two winner Berkeley Ajirogi was able to secure third place in the standings.

Kevin Woods was another driver to sweep the Triple Crown 1 championship in KZ. The three-time winner scored the title over Patrick O’Neill with Lars Olander in third. Karting legend Memo Gidley won the two opening rounds of 125 Limited Shifter division to win the title. Gidley secured the championship by 20 points over Round Three winner Hunter Hagenbuch with Stephan Gaudreau finishing third in the standings, recording a best finish of third at Round Two.

The class champions in ROK VLR Senior, ROK VLR Junior, ROK Mini and ROK Micro received either a ticket to the ROK Cup Superfinal in Lonato, Italy or ROK Vegas 2026, or for all three rounds of the ROK Sonoma Triple Crown 2. Class champions in ROK VLR Masters and the two shifter categories were awarded either a ROK Vegas 2026 ticket or full entry toward the ROK Sonoma Triple Crown 2 program.

Second place finishers in the championships receive a half ticket to ROK Vegas 2026 or one entry ROK Sonoma Triple Crown 2. Third place drivers in the standings were provided free ‘consumables’ at ROK Vegas 2026 or two sets of Levanto tires.

The ROK Cup USA ROK Sonoma Triple Crown 2 program is set to launch in June and run until September. The month of July is reserved for the ROK Cup USA ROK Fest West event, set for July 10-12 at Sonoma Raceway. Over $50,000 in cash and prizes will be awarded on the special one-off weekend event.
