The 2026 season for Cup Karts North America is well underway. Two national events have been contested, the CKNA South program is nearing its finale weekend. The CKNA North series opened up this month and the CKNA Canada program is set to host their inaugural Canadian 4-Cycle Nationals event in Quebec. Next month, the CKNA East division is set to begin its fourth season with trips scheduled for Ohio, New York and New Jersey.

The East program is set to kick off on the June 5-7 weekend at Quaker City Motorsports Park. The new Quaker City Karting circuit in Salem, Ohio opened in 2025, welcoming the finale weekend for the CKNA East championship as one of the top attended divisional events for CKNA on the year. The eastern Ohio facility is set to host the opening two rounds of the 2026 championship.

Stop two for the CKNA East schedule will be at the Kelly’s Motorsports Park on July 3-5. Karters will be able to celebrate the Fourth of July holiday weekend at the historic Batavia, New York facility. Situated east of Buffalo, the 3/4-mile circuit has decades of karting history and was reopened in 2025 after sitting dormant for 16 years. CKNA East visited in 2025, welcoming over 100 entries.

The CKNA East series finale will be held at the New Jersey Motorsports Park. The Millville, New Jersey facility is set to host the final two rounds of the championship on August 28-30. NJMP returns to the program schedule after visiting the first two years of the championship.

The format for the CKNA East program will be adjusted for the 2026 season. The opening event at Quaker City Karting will be a two-day event with on track action contested Saturday and Sunday. The Kelly’s weekend will continue to be the three-day format, featuring Friday practice. Action at the New Jersey Motorsports Park reverts to the two-day format.
