Kart Republic Ready for the European Championship
Three podium finishes and nine top-10 results confirmed the competitiveness of the KR chassis in the OK and OK-Junior classes at the opening round of the Champions of the Future Euro Series at the World Circuit de La Conca, which is set to host the FIA Karting European Championship. A remarkable overall result in OK
After several KR-IAME victories in the Qualifying Heats, on both slick and wet tyres, James Anagnostiadis (KR Motorsport) secured a front-row start in the Final following his win in the Super Heat. Oliver Kinnmark (VDK Racing), Zac Drummond (Fusion Motorsport) and Andrea Manni (KR Motorsport) also positioned themselves in the leading group.
In the Final, the excellent results continued. James Anagnostiadis took 2nd place on the podium, whilst three other drivers using KR chassis finished in the top 10: P4 for Zac Green (Jamie Green Racing), P8 for Zac Drummond and P9 for Andrea Manni.
Competitive teams in all conditions in OK-Junior
The partnerships forged between Kart Republic and the numerous satellite teams once again proved their worth in southern Italy. Priam Bruno (VictoryLane) and Daniel Miron Lorente (Fusion Motorsport) both found themselves on the podium at the end of the OK-Junior Final.
DPK Racing, with Roland Nagy and Zack Zhu, and Koski Motorsport, with Ksawery Dudkowski, won Qualifying Heats at the wheel of their KR-IAME karts, whilst the KR Motorsport team saw its drivers finish among Europe’s best. Lucas Palacio moved up eight places in the Final to finish 5th, and Will Green climbed from 15th to 8th place ahead of his team-mate Santiago Diaz de la Vega. Finally, the fastest lap of the event was set by Stan Ratajski of the KR Motorsport team.

“The start of the event was marked by difficult weather conditions and heavy rainfall, which led to the cancellation of several Free Practice sessions. Like the other teams, we had to make do with the bare minimum in terms of testing, which is never ideal for preparing for a competition in the best possible conditions. But the sun eventually came out, with temperatures reaching around 20°C. Given the excellent performance achieved in the latter stages of the race, we were reassured about the competitiveness of our equipment with the Maxxis tyres. We are optimistic about the upcoming races.”
