Podium Finish in the WSK Super Master Series at Franciacorta for Emme Racing

Another strong result for Emme Racing, which took center stage in the final round of the WSK Super Master Series at the Franciacorta circuit, one of the most competitive venues in international karting.

In the OK-N Junior category, Gioele Carrer secured an excellent second place in the Final, at the end of a hard-fought weekend full of action, once again confirming the performance level already shown at the recent Andrea Margutti Trophy.

Strong pace and consistency from qualifying

Carrer’s weekend started on a very positive note:

  • Qualifying: P2 in his group, P4 overall
  • Heat 1: P2
  • Heat 2: P2
  • Heat 3: P4

Solid and consistent performances allowed him to stay among the front runners throughout the heats, demonstrating both speed and consistency in a highly competitive field.

Fighting comeback on Sunday: from P9 to the podium

After finishing P5 in the Prefinal, Carrer lined up P4 on the grid for the Final.

A difficult start dropped the Emme Racing driver down to P9, but he quickly reacted with a determined and effective comeback drive, working his way back through the field to reach second position.

In the closing stages, contact with another driver — following an aggressive overtaking move — pushed Carrer down to P4 at the finish line. However, race control later penalized the incident, reinstating the correct order and confirming second place for the Emme Racing driver.

Strong confirmation for the season

The result at Franciacorta further highlights the strength of Gioele Carrer, who was among the fastest drivers all weekend and delivered another competitive and determined performance.

This podium follows his victory at the Margutti Trophy and reinforces his positive progression throughout the season.

Despite missing one round of the championship, Carrer still secured an impressive fifth place overall in the WSK Super Master Series standings, underlining his consistency and competitiveness.
