Cup Karts Canada is proud to announce a landmark moment for grassroots motorsports Canada. The first ever Cup Karts North America Canadian Four-Cycle National Championship is set to take place May 15–17, 2026, at the renowned TAG Karting Academy in Mont-Tremblant. This event marks not only a national first, but a deeply personal milestone. The 2026 season is the fifth anniversary, and since before Cup Karts North America Canada even existed as a series, the dream has always been the same: to give Canadian four-cycle racers — from kids to veterans — a true national championship of their own.

After years of building a community, listening to racers, and watching the Canadian four-cycle scene grow stronger and more united, that dream is now becoming reality. While four-cycle racing has thrived for decades, there has never been a dedicated national championship focused solely on the racers, families, and teams who make this level of the sport so special. Cup Karts Canada is changing that. In partnership with Tag Karting Academy, we will bring together four-cycle racers from across the country for a weekend that is not only competitive, but meaningful — a true celebration of grassroots motorsport.

A New Tradition:

Many forms of motorsports open the season with the crown jewel event. A race that sets the tone for the year. A race that becomes the crown jewel. In Canada, most national karting championships are traditionally held late in the season, often in August. CKNA Canada is taking a different approach. By placing the Canadian Four-Cycle National Championship on the Victoria Day long weekend, Cup Karts Canada is establishing a new tradition: starting our season with the event that means the most. This championship is intended to be the one racers circle first on their calendars — the race that defines what four-cycle karting in Canada is all about.

TAG Karting Academy is one of Canada’s premier karting facilities — modern, professional, beautifully designed, and perfectly suited to host a national-level event. Its reputation, layout, and location make it an ideal setting for a championship of this significance. Securing the Victoria Day weekend allows racers from every province the time to travel, compete, and experience one of the most impressive karting venues in the country. Five years in the Making Cup Karts Canada started with a simple goal: to elevate four-cycle karting and give Canadian racers the recognition this discipline deserves. Five years later, the community has grown far beyond expectations. Launching this championship in our fifth year feels fitting — the result of thousands of kilometres traveled, long nights in the shop, and the passion of the racing families who support the series.
