Record setting field of 96 drivers to battle in Las Vegas

eKartingNews.com is proud to present our Preview Series for the Superkarts! USA SuperNationals 28. Leading up to the on-track action of the 2025 edition of the marquee SKUSA event, EKN will preview each of the nine categories that will compete on the temporary circuit located outside the Las Vegas Motor Speedway in Las Vegas from November 12-16.

Coverage continues into Wednesday as karts hit the track for the first time. EKN Live begins on Thursday, November 13 as qualifying is conducted for both the morning classes and the afternoon divisions. Listen LIVE to the heat races throughout Friday, November 14 and into Situation Saturday, November 15, including the five Last Chance Qualifiers held on the day. KA100 Senior

Like the many categories we’re already previewed for SKUSA SuperNationals 28, the KA100 Senior division has also never had a repeat winner in its short six-year tenure. That said, this streak could be broken this year as three of those former winners are in the 96-driver field, including defending champion Joe Turney (MPG / Kart Republic). The British driver made his SuperNationals debut memorable with a double victory on SuperSunday, winning both KA100 Senior and Pro X30. Turney ran a limited schedule USA schedule this year, winning the SKUSA Winter Series in Pro X30 before making two other visits during the summer. The two other former SuperNats winners include veterans Brandon Lemke (SCR / CS55) and Pauly Massimino (BJR / LN Racing Kart). Lemke made the move to Speed Concepts Racing this year, but finished runner-up to Massimino in the USPKS championship chase. Massimino won at the SKUSA SpringNationals, finishing fifth in the championship despite missing the WinterNationals. Three podium results, including a victory, helped him earn the USPKS crown for 2025. Lemke was fifth last year while Massimino led before contact with a barrier took him out of the race. All three drivers are capable of walking away with another win.

A total of eight former SuperNationals winners are in the field, including a driver finishing fifth last year. Race Liberante won the Pro 2 division in 2019 and has competed in the KA100 Senior division for the last two years thanks to the Rock Island Grand Prix Scholarship program. The California native moves to the Forward Direction Motorsports operation aboard the new Pantano chassis. He will be teaming up with Spaniard Ruben Moya (FDM / Pantano), who is making his KA100 Senior debut after earning top qualifier honors in Pro X30 last year.

Donovan Bonilla (RPG / Kosmic) is one of two former Pro X30 winners in the KA100 Senior field. Bonilla shocked the world with an impressive breakaway victory in 2023. He’s contested KA100 Senior the last two years, with a best finish of 17th a year ago. Two drivers have wins in the Junior categories. Jeremy Fletcher doubled up in 2021, winning both KA100 Junior and X30 Junior to become the first driver to do so. After winning the ROK Vegas race last weekend in a ‘super sub’ role for Mike Manning Karting, Fletcher is joining Magik Kart USA to lead their single-speed effort that saw AJ Myers earn the USPKS title in 2024. Sebastian Garzon (Orsolon / Tony Kart) leads the rookie class of 2025, having also won both Junior divisions in 2024 to become the third driver to accomplish that feat. Garzon focused on his USF Pro Championships program in 2025, but he has kept himself in a kart throughout the year. Enzo Vidmontiene (SLA / Kart Republic) claimed the SuperNationals Mini Swift victory in 2021 and will also be making his first start in KA100 Senior. His best finish in KA100 Junior over the last three years was fifth in 2024.

In addition to Turney and Moya, there are a total of 24 drivers from outside the USA in the field. One to watch for is Australian champion Jackson Souslin (JHDD / Kart Republic), making his SuperNationals debut. Also included in the international contingent is 2025 SKUSA Pro Tour champion Diego Ramos (PSL / Birelart). The Brazilian is coming off his best season in the USA, including the championship and a victory in Pro X30 category. This will be Ramos’ first start at the SuperNationals in KA100 Senior.

All 10 drivers in the top-10 of the SKUSA Pro Tour standings are in the field, including Ramos, Oliver Hodgson, James Overbeck, Bonilla, and Massimino from the top-five. Hodgson (CompKart Factory Team) came from the SKUSA SuperSunday Roll Off after missing a transfer spot in the LCQ and went on to finish 13th. His best finish in his three starts for the category is fifth in 2022. Overbeck (BJR / LN Racing Kart) finished third after claiming the title last year, claiming one victory on the season. His best finish over the last two events was 12th from a year ago.

Lemke, Eli Warren, Fernando Luque, Frankie Mossman, and Henry Wheeler were the rest of the top-10 in the championship standings and they are among the record-setting field this year. Warren (HDD / Tony Kart) has not finished in any of the three starts at the SuperNationals, so he’ll be looking for the checkered flag. Luque (BJR / LN Racing Kart) was top-15 over the last two starts, with a career best finish of eighth in KA100 Junior back in 2021. ‘Fast’ Frankie (SCR / Redspeed) – the 2025 SKUSA Winter Series champion – has three starts in KA100 Senior with a best finish of third in 2022. Wheeler (MDR / LN Racing Kart) also has three starts at the SuperNationals, recording his best result of 21st last year.

There is a long list of potential drivers to be in contention this year. Keagan Kaminski (FW / GFC) scored the ProKart Challenge championship in 2025 with five straight victories. Former FIA Karting KZ World Champion Marijn Kremers (RPG / Kosmic) is making the move to KA100 Senior for 2025. British driver Caden McQueen (Velocity / Sodi Kart) is coming off victory at ROK Vegas in the new SV Pro division. Jesus Vasquez Jr. (GFC Karting) was runner-up a year ago with the former Texas Sprint Racing Series champion making his third start in the category. SKUSA Pro Tour KA100 Junior champion Alexander Vanchev (RPG / Kosmic) is among an impressive rookie class as he makes his Senior debut at the SuperNationals, along with Nico Sarphati (GFC Karting), Dean Pedersen (Soren / Kart Republic) and others.
