Each year over the 14 years of the Cadet division, and since 2016 when Mini Swift was created, there has been 14 different winners at the SKUSA SuperNationals. Former Formula One drivers and current IndyCar and NASCAR drivers are among the former winners, including Logan Sargant, Patricio O’Ward, and Connor Zilisch. Who will become the 15th different winner?

Over the last eight years of Mini and Micro Swift, there has never been a driver to win both categories at the SuperNationals in their career. Maxwell Macha (Parolin Motorsport USA) and Zayne Burgess (Parolin Motorsport USA) could be the first to make history. They come in as the last two winners in the Micro Swift class at the SuperNationals. Macha won in 2023, placing eighth last year in Mini. He comes into the SuperNationals having placed fourth in the SKUSA Pro Tour championship and he’s fresh off victory at the ROK Vegas event. Burgess scored the Micro Swift triumph last year and was runner-up at the SKUSA Winter Series before turning his attention to racing in Europe throughout the season.

Missing from the SuperNationals 28 entry list is SKUSA Pro Tour champion Enzo DiGennaro (Parolin Motorsport USA). The driver from New York is moving up to the X30 Junior category. The rest of the top-five from 2025 includes runner-up Jayden Francisco (RPM / Nitro Kart), Wynn Godschalk (Team Benik), Maxwell, and Aston Wyatt (RPM / Nitro Kart). Francisco is among the three Canadians in the field, coming in as the USPKS 2025 champion. He is among the four drivers who finished on the podium in Micro Swift last year, placing fourth. That group includes Godschalk, from the country of Curacao. Wynn has also been racing all over the globe, winning in the Mini U10 division, placing third last year at the SuperNationals in Micro. Wyatt is set to make his first start at the SuperNationals.

A driver from the USA has won the last seven editions of Mini Swift at the SuperNationals. Among the international drivers looking to end that streak include Kiwi driver Iver Spence (Parolin Motorsport USA) – who finished sixth in Micro last year. Oliver Williamson (TWM / Kart Republic) is the 2025 Australian Cadet champion, making his first SuperNationals start. Nico Salazar (Orsolon / Parolin) represents Costa Rica, Mauro Nario (Team Benik) from Mexico, and Asher Pavan (Parolin Motorsport USA) from Canada will all be in the discussion.

Macha leads the top finishers from last year’s Mini Swift main event. Liam Nachawati (JHDD / Kart Republic) placed eighth at SuperNationals 27 while Alex Chandler (IRM / Tony Kart) was ninth a year ago.

Nearly half the field are making the transition from Micro to Mini in 2025. Santiago Orioli (OKP / Kart Republic) was runner-up in Micro Swift at SuperNationals 27. Marcelo Flores (TB Karts) and Pedro Cueto (Team Benik) are among those making their Mini Swift debut at SuperNationals 28.

Other notables include Lucas Tarango (Ruthless / Nitro Kart), Nathan Ramirez (Team Benik), Lawrence Peremen (BJR / LN Racing Kart), Challenge of the Americas champion Luis Martinez (Position-One / Croc Promotion), Cameron Johnson (Nash / Merlin), and Texas Sprint Racing Series title winner Tanner Barsch (Kart CRG USA).
