After a successful run, brothers Kyle and Brad Yuchinski have officially sold the Amarillo Kart Complex to Jeff Offutt, a seasoned entrepreneur and motorsports enthusiast, who will rename the venue Amarillo Motorsports Park. The acquisition promises an expanded vision and an elevated experience for the Amarillo racing community, with a focus on karting, minimoto, and supermoto racing.

According to the former owners, finding the right buyer was a top priority. “When my brother and I decided to sell the track, it wasn’t an ‘if’ we would sell it,” said Kyle Yuchinski. “It was about finding the right person to maintain what we started and expand the vision for the racing community. After speaking with Jeff, who was already a track member and had a love for motorsports, a love for Amarillo, and was a successful entrepreneur, it was a no-brainer.”

Brad Yuchinski added that Jeff was the perfect fit to lead the track’s future direction. “He’s the perfect fit for what we saw and wanted the track direction to go,” Brad stated. “Expanding the vision, expanding motorsports in the Amarillo community, and taking the go-kart track to the level it deserves.”

Jeff’s lifelong passion for racing began with dirt bikes as a teenager and evolved into competitive racing with the CMRA. As the new owner, he will combine his extensive business experience with his love for racing to enhance the complex and grow the motorsport community across the Texas Panhandle.

“I can’t wait to share the ride with all of you,” Jeff said. “We are committed to building on the incredible foundation Kyle and Brad established and bringing an even more dynamic and thriving motorsports experience to Amarillo.”

The transition marks an exciting new chapter for the facility, which was revitalized by the Yuchinski brothers in 2023. The new owner and the vision for Amarillo Motorsports Park are founded on the principles of Faith, Wisdom, and Courage.
