The United States Pro Kart Series – the official IAME Series USA East – presented by MG Tires enters the second half of the 2025 season, heading to the Wisconsin Grand Prix over the June 27-29 weekend. The Briggs & Stratton Motorplex at Road America in Elkhart Lake, Wisconsin will welcome over 200 entries in the seven IAME categories competing on the weekend, which serves as Round Three of the 2025 championship chase.

The karting circuit at Road America was constructed in 2000, and repaved in 2017. The facility has welcomed many major karting events in its 25 year history, including three previous USPKS events from 2020-2022. The ‘A’ layout measures at 8/10-mile in the clockwise direction with major elevation changes over the course of the lap.

Unofficial practice will run from Noon to 6pm on Thursday before four rounds of official practice and qualifying are contested on Friday. Three rounds of heat races fill up the schedule on Saturday, setting the grids for the Finals on Sunday. KA100 Senior and KA100 Junior will be split up into heat groups based on qualifying with possible B Main events on Sunday.

The drive for a fourth championship continues for Ryan Norberg (RPG / Kosmic) in the Rolison Performance Group X30 Pro division. His two wins over the two events of 2025 have him leading the championship by 214 points over Pauly Massimino (BJR / LN Racing Kart). Third and fourth place drivers Frankie Mossman (JHDD / Kart Republic) and Jakub Kolar (Vice / Kart Republic) will not be at Road America, thus leaving two drivers in the hunt. British driver Caden McQueen is more than 500 points out of the championship lead, however, will be carrying new colors this weekend with his move to Velocity Racing / Sodi Kart, joining Canadian and former SuperNationals winner Zachary Claman DeMelo. The biggest impact in the 20-driver field is the return of former series race winner Joe Turney (JHDD / Kart Republic). The British driver won in his only start in 2024 at Trackhouse, carry a total of two wins in four starts in USPKS competition dating back to 2023. Defending series champion Austin Garrison (SCR / CS55) is looking for a rebound after a DNF in his first 2025 start at Trackhouse. The 2025 Carolina Grand Prix runner-up Hayden Jones (RPG / Kosmic) is in the field, coming off a win at Road America in KA100 Senior competition.

The Brandon Jarsocrak Racing KA100 Senior category is nearly at the 50-driver mark, heading to Road America with two different winners. James Overbeck (BJR / Tony Kart) and Pauly Massimino (BJR / LN Racing Kart) won the opening two rounds and leading the championship chase. Overbeck has a slim 12-point lead heading into Round Three. Veteran Brandon Lemke (SCR / CS55) sits third with the most success at Road America in the field as a Wisconsin native. California driver Blake Nash (Nash / EOS) and Colombian Sebastian Garzon (Orsolon / Tony Kart) cap off the top-five in the championship chase. In addition to Massimino, many drivers are going double duty on the weekend, including Joe Turney (JHDD / Kart Republic), ZCD (Velocity / Sodi Kart), McQueen (Velocity / Sodi Kart), and others. Drivers with momentum coming into the weekend are Caleb Gafrarar (HDD / Tony Kart) and Keagan Kaminski (FW / GFC). Gafrarar was on the podium at Route 66 Sprint Series and USF2000 race, all at Road America over the last two weekends. Kaminski is flying in from California off of his fourth straight victory at the ProKart Challenge. Notables include Eli Warren (HDD / Redspeed), Austin Olds (MPG / Kart Republic), 2024 race winner Mick Gabriel (AEM / Tony Kart), Connor Ferris (TFR / Kart Republic), and California native Jake Drew (FW / GFC).

A solid field of 24 drivers will battle in the Speed Concepts Racing X30 Junior category. The big story going into the weekend is championship leader Alexander Vanchev (RPG / Kosmic) not attending Road America. With the best three of four rounds counting toward the championship, Vanchev is not out of the running should he compete at the series finale in New Castle. This moves Ashton Woon (SCR / CS55) as the provisional championship leader heading into the weekend with a third and a fifth over the opening two rounds. Daytona winner Theo Salomao (Orsolon / Tony Kart) suffered a tough weekend at Trackhouse, trailing Vanchev by 289 points. Sarah Bradley (SCR / Sodi Kart) and Nico Kotowski (TKG / Birelart) make up the top-five in the standings. Carolina GP winner Max Weiland (Magik Kart USA) is making his second start of the season after missing Daytona, as is John Antonino (MPG / Kart Republic) and former series champion Lucas Palacio (JHDD / Kart Republic). Parker Ives (RPM / Tony Kart) and Aston Wyatt (RPM / Tony Kart) are making their first Junior starts this weekend.

The largest category of the weekend is BBS Race Engines KA100 Junior at 53 drivers. Theo Salomao (Orsolon / Tony Kart) and Max Cristea (JHDD / Kart Republic) are the two winners of the 2025 season, but it is consistency that leads the championship. Nathan Dupuis (Nash / EOS) has two top-five finishes over the opening rounds to lead the standings by 82 points over Julian Rivera (Orsolon / Tony Kart). Travis Pettit (SCR / CS55) holds third ahead of Salomao with Tristan Murphy (RPM / Tony Kart) sitting fifth, only 156 points back. John Antonino (MPG / Kart Republic) is coming off a win at Road America for the Route 66 Sprint Series, making his second USPKS start of 2025. Luca Popescu (RPG / Kosmic) is coming off his first win at Challenge of the Americas in Utah. Lucas Palacio (JHDD / Kart Republic) is making his first start in the KA category on the season.

Numbers are low in the Nash Motorsportz KA100 Masters category, but the competition level is high. Championship leader and Trackhouse winner Martin Stone (RPG / Kosmic) leads by 174 points over Renato Jader-David (Orsolon / Tony Kart), who is not on the entry list. Neither is Brandt Estes (HDD / Tony Kart) or Mundy Loyer (Nash / EOS). Recently crowned Challenge of the Americas champion Scott Falcone (Orsolon / Kart Republic) is fifth in the standings with no podium finishes. Former series race winner Adam Crepin (Franklin / Gillard) is back for his first start of the 2025 season, winning the Route 66 Sprint Series event two weeks ago, as is former series champion Laurentiu Mardan (Tecno Kart USA).

Two teammate drivers have won thus far in the Sodi Racing USA Mini Swift category with Canadian Jayden Francisco (RPM / Nitro Kart) and former Micro champion Parker Ives (RPM / Nitro Kart). Ives is graduating to the Junior category, thus leaving Francisco with now a 146-point lead over Enzo DiGennaro (Parolin Motorsport USA) in the championship chase. Maxwell Macha is now third in the standings, making the move over to Parolin Motorsport USA this weekend. Santiago Orioli (OKP / Kart Republic) is now fourth, coming off a win at the Route 66 Sprint Series event at Road America. Notables include Cameron Johnson (Franklin / Merlin), Daniel Draganov (Parolin Motorsport USA), and Liam Nachawati (JHDD / Kart Republic).

The top-nine in the Team Ferris Racing Micro Swift championship will be at Road America. Round Two winner Slate Harrell (RPM / Nitro Kart) leads the standings by a slim 18 points over Lenox Lockhart (Velocity / Sodi Kart). Alvaro Medeiros (Orsolon / Tony Kart) is coming off a podium finish, sitting third ahead of Trackhouse runner-up driver Brody Stoffle (JHDD / Kart Republic). Canadian Leo Simone (JHDD / Kart Republic) holds fifth ahead of Daytona winner Hudson Howard (JHDD / Kart Republic).
