One of the newer teams in North American karting is Energy Corse Americas, but the brand is far from taking its first steps on this continent. Manufactured in Italy, Energy Corse first made its debut in the United States in the late 1990s and has enjoyed its share of success over the years. Fast forward to 2025 and the brand is back in a big way with a new importer and distributor, and a new official race team that is putting the Energy Corse name back up front.

The new Energy Corse Americas race team made its debut in January, contesting all the winter programs in Orlando, Florida, welcoming drivers in different categories. The highlights from the SKUSA Winter Series include a pair of podium finishes by British driver Caden McQueen, who ended up third in the championship. Edward Kennedy grabbed a runner-up finish in X30 Junior in the final round of the Winter Series and added a series best third-place result in KA100 Junior. McQueen was P2 in the Rotax Winter Trophy program in Senior MAX while Kennedy carded a best result of second in Junior MAX over the four rounds. McQueen picked up two victories at the ROK Cup USA Florida Winter Tour, one each in ROK GP and VLR Senior. Kennedy added a runner-up result in Round Two in the ROK GP Junior division.

With the winter season completed, the focus is on the rest of the schedule for the 2025 season. Energy Corse Americas is providing unique opportunities to join the race team for the remainder of the year.

The first is providing a free test day with the Energy Corse Factory Team in Italy to drivers who join the Energy Corse Americas race team. The factory team has a long standing as a top contender in the European and World championships at the different levels and disciplines. Energy Corse Americas has already benefitted with technical support from the factory team during the first quarter of the 2025 season. Thanks to the Energy Corse Factory Team support, this fantastic opportunity is open to all drivers from Mini, OKJ, OK and KZ. The test will be subject to location and date, due to the factory team’s schedule at WSK, ACI, FIA European and World championship events.

Energy Corse Americas Team Manager Dean Keeble is excited about the opportunity to take drivers to Italy to test with the Energy Corse Factory Team.

“We have been working closely with the Energy factory team to come up with different ways to give drivers an opportunity to experience first-hand the operation of a successful factory team,” Keeble told EKN. “As we all know, karting is very expensive, and most drivers thrive to compete on the world stage, but getting there, for many, is almost an impossible task. This opportunity not only allows drivers to experience a factory-based outfit, but it also gives drivers a chance to display their speed and talent, in front of the leading figures in karting. This could possibly lead to further opportunities for a driver’s career.”

Energy Corse Americas is also providing an exciting opportunity for Cadet drivers to jump in with team, providing a free Energy Corse Storm chassis to compete in Mini or Micro division.

Keeble added, “The youth movement is here, and we are excited to introduce new or existing drivers to the Energy Corse family. The Cadet program at Energy Corse has a long standing history of success around the world, including here in the USA with names like Brent Crews and Connor Zilisch starting their karting careers on an Energy Corse chassis.”
