One of the more successful weekends in 2024 for OTK USA brands came at the United States Pro Kart Series Ohio Grand Prix. The August 9-11 event was held at the Motorsports Country Club of Cincinnati in Batavia, Ohio. In addition to the four victories earned on the weekend, OTK teams and drivers earned top-five finishes in all seven categories.

James Overbeck (Brandon Jarsocrak Racing / LN Racing Kart) defended his home turf in the KA100 Senior class with the Cincinnati driver taking his first career USPKS victory. Overbeck won two heat races and the battle of four drivers in the main event to claim the top spot on the podium. Fernando Luque (Supertune USA / LN Racing Kart) returned to the site of an incident in June that resulted in a concussion and was among top contenders all weekend. Three runner-up results in heat races put him into the front of the main event, leading at one time before settling in for third at the checkered flag. Championship leader Cooper Shipman (Iron Rock Motorsports / Tony Kart) was near the front in the heat races, just trailing the lead group in the Final to end up fifth.

A second win on the season was earned by three-time defending series champion Ryan Norberg (Rolison Performance Group / Kosmic) in the X30 Pro division. Missing out on fast time in qualifying, the Florida driver won two of the three heat races to lock in the pole position for the Final. Norberg escaped early to lead all 25 laps for the victory. Pauly Massimino (BJR-MDR / LN Racing Kart) followed Norberg through after starting third, recording a 1-2 finish for OTK brands in the headline category.

Another driver to secure his first USPKS victory was Sebastian Garzon (Orsolon Racing / Tony Kart) in KA100 Junior. After setting fast time in qualifying, Garzon won one heat and finished second twice. He started on the outside of the front row, battling in a wild main event. Garzon took over the lead late and held on to claim the win. Polesitter Turner Brown (Rolison Performance Group / Kosmic) won two heat races and was among those battling at the front in the Final. At the line, Brown was only 31 thousandths short of beating Garzon. Davin Roberts (Ryan Perry Motorsport / Tony Kart) – a heat race winner – was able to finish fifth for his best finish of the season.

Turner Brown (Rolison Performance Group / Kosmic) was victorious in the X30 Junior category. Brown set fast time in qualifying and won two of the heat races. The main event was a wire-to-wire performance in his first triumph of the season in the class. Championship leader Diego Ardiles (Speed Concepts Racing / CS55) was third in the Final for a third top three finish over the four rounds in 2024.

Martin Stone (Rolison Performance Group / Kosmic) led the OTK drivers in the KA100 Masters division, with the championship contender finishing fourth in the main event on Sunday. Nicolas Orbezo (Rolison Performance Group / Kosmic) duplicated that result in the Mini Swift to record his best finish of 2024. Completing the top five combination for all seven categories is Lucca Becerril (Orsolon Racing / Tony Kart). The Florida driver recorded his best finish of the season with a fifth-place result.
