FL Amusement Creations, LLC is proud to announce that it will assume management of Andersen RacePark in Palmetto, Florida in May 2024 and the new venue will be renamed the ‘T4 KartPlex’ as part of its title sponsorship from Tillotson Racing. With an aim to restore and grow grassroots kart racing in the Tampa Bay area, the T4 KartPlex is delighted to bring to the industry a new vision for the 18-acre motorsports facility. The T4 KartPlex will be the hub of the southeast division in the Tillotson T4 Series, an international karting series that culminates in the T4 Nations Cup, where karters compete for their own personal glory as well as for their nation for the coveted T4 Nations Cup Trophy. The sponsorship from Tillotson Racing will help make the full line of Tillotson karting products available to both weekend enthusiasts and full-time karters.

“We are excited to announce this new relationship with FL Amusement Creations and are proud to play a role in creating one of the country’s premier karting and entertainment venues,” said Charles A. Demirjian, President of Tillotson Racing. “The T4 KartPlex will stand as a beacon of international racing and family fun in the US, and we are thrilled to be part of that experience.”

The T4 KartPlex will continue to offer a venue for the state’s best racing with the continuation of the hosting of the SSKC’s inaugural round for 2024. The T4 KartPlex will also host a full offering of karting services including the re-introduction of arrive-and-drive rental karts, the addition of a trackside cafe/bar, and a welcoming environment for racers, family, and friends to enjoy the fun of motorsports in the sun. The Kart Rising storefront will remain to serve customers with vital parts and karting supplies. The recently added motorbike program will also retain their coveted access to the track, with the South Florida Mini GP and MotoAmerica events scheduled for later this summer.

Later in the year, the venue also plans to offer karting to families of drivers as young as thee-years-old with the addition of their race car themed ‘Kids Village’, which will feature a 0.15 mile skills track for kid karts, power wheels, and a new fleet of Tillotson Racing themed electric mini karts. Complete with a comfortable viewing and seating area, as well as interactives for spectating parents, the T4 Kid’s Village will be a weekend destination for families of all descriptions.

With many possible configurations, the T4 KartPlex will also feature the possibility to play host to junior open wheel and sports cars for testing, tuning, and training.
