The Superkarts! USA organization completed the 2024 SKUSA Winter Series at the beginning of February. Now, SKUSA is shifting its focus on the new Superkarts! USA Pro Tour, starting with the WinterNationals set for Orlando Kart Center on March 8-10.

The biggest change for the 2024 SKUSA Pro Tour is the addition of the Pro sessions at the end of each day. Friday will be two 30-minute hot pit sessions for both Pro X30 and Pro Shifter. They return on Saturday afternoon for a Qualifying and Super Pole sessions before running their 15-lap Prefinal races. A short warm-up in the middle of Sunday’s action will lead up to their main events at the end of the day, 25 laps for each class.

Once again, a $7,500 cash purse for each Pro class with $5k going to the winner. All other ‘Semi-Pro’ categories will have a $1,750 cash purse for each day’s Final, with the winner of the main events receiving $1,000. A minimum of 30 entries is needed for the ‘Semi-Pro’ classes while Pro classes will need a 25 driver minimum. ATTENTION: KA100 Master and Master Shifter Drivers

Superkarts! USA has issued a need for entries in these two categories. They are asking for at least 10 in each class to Pre-Enter for Orlando so each class can remain on the schedule. Entries need to in by February 23. Any class that is removed from the schedule in Orlando may not be added back.

Split Class Format

Depending on the Masters classes above, SKUSA may not have the ability to split any classes in Orlando, so make sure you Pre-Enter as soon as possible.

Should any class need to be split, SKUSA has adjusted the racing format slightly to accommodate the new schedule. A normal P1/P2 splits for Practice by kart number order will continue. The last practice will re-split the class into Q2/Q1 groups for Warm-Up and Qualifying. After Qualifying, the class will be split into Prefinal A and Prefinal B (Odds/Evens in Quali). The top 22 drivers in each Prefinal will advance to the Final. The rest will race in the B-Main, but no drivers will advance to the Final. There will be a prize for winning the B-Main.
