On September 24, Superkarts! USA released a social media post introducing the new Evinco SK-M4 Yellow tire. The new tire is a development with MG Tires to replace the Evinco SK-M2 Red tire in all applicable classes. The SK-M4 Yellow tire will make its competitive debut at the SKUSA SuperNationals 29, scheduled for November 11-15 at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway in Las Vegas, Nevada.

In their social media post, Superkarts! USA stated the tire will produce faster lap times earlier in the heat cycle, improve wear resistance and will offer longer tire life with seamless continuity across global series. The Evinco SK-H2 Blue compound will remain unchanged.

EKN reached out to Tom Kutscher of Superkarts! USA. Tom stated that the new SK-M4 Yellow tire was developed from scratch and has been in development for the last two years. MG Tires, the manufacturer of the Evinco tire brand, is consistently testing in-house for all their tire products with extensive focus on this new compound with Evinco. When asked why the debut is coming at SKUSA SuperNationals 29, Kutscher stated this helps to level the playing field in Las Vegas with all competitors coming in without much knowledge or information on this new compound, and it also allows Evinco to introduce this new compound to multiple international drivers. The SK-M4 Yellow is expected to be utilized for at minimum two years based on its performance over the coming season.
