ROK Cup USA is pleased to announce the 2027 schedule for ROK Sonoma, once again featuring two three-race “Triple Crown” championship programs, each with separate points and prizes, along with the return of the popular ROK Fest West one-off event in July. The 2027 season marks another exciting chapter for the West Coast’s premier ROK program, offering competitors seven weekends of world-class racing in Wine Country.

“ROK Sonoma continues to be one of the most competitive and fastest-growing programs in California, and we’re thrilled to bring our Western States teams another full slate of Triple Crown racing along with the return of ROK Fest West in 2027,” expressed Mike Burrell, Director of Operations for ROK Cup USA. “The level of competition we saw in 2026, especially in our VLR classes, was second to none, and we expect that trend to continue as we build toward 2027.”

Burrell continued, “All seven event weekends will include an optional Friday practice session run by Sonoma Raceway, with ROK Cup USA managing all championship activities each Saturday and Sunday. Between our two Triple Crowns and ROK Fest West, there’s an opportunity for every one of our supporting teams to be part of what we’re building at Sonoma in 2027.”

Round 1: April 17-18
Round 2: May 1-2
Round 3: June 5-6

2027 Triple Crown 2

Round 4: June 26-27
Round 5: August 7-8
Round 6: September 18-19

**Each Triple Crown will consist of three races with no drops and will award separate points and prizes.

ROK FEST WEST

Returning to Sonoma Raceway on July 17-18, ROK Fest West will once again deliver a one-off weekend of incredible prizes, fun on- and off-track activities, and the picture-perfect Sonoma weather competitors have come to expect.

ROK Sonoma averaged 86 entries per event throughout the 2026 season — a strong and consistent turnout for a program that runs on a two-cycle-only format, and a number that would have topped 90 if not for a rain-affected round in April. With year-over-year growth continuing in the ROK program across California, ROK Cup USA is looking to build on that momentum through the 2027 season.

“We sincerely hope our Western States ROK teams will be a part of our 2027 success at both or either Triple Crowns and ROK Fest West,” added Burrell.

The 2027 ROK Sonoma and ROK Fest West Prize Package will be announced at a later date.
