T4 KartPlex to Host 2026 T4 Night Shootout

December 12 event to welcome Tillotson racing under the lights in Florida racing for big prize package

The Tillotson T4 karting package continues to grow throughout the racing market in the United States and around the world. The program’s T4 Nations Cup 2026 is slated for September 30-October 4 in Valencia, Spain with competitors from all over the globe competing. Here in the USA, the T4 KartPlex in Palmetto, Florida is ramping up for its big event to close out the 2026 season, set to host the T4 Night Shootout on Saturday, December 12.

The classes will including T4 Bambino, T4 Mini, T4 Junior, T4 Senior and T4 Masters. Each class will be limited to a maximum of 36 paid entries. The main concept is:

One night. One qualifying opportunity. One race. Winner takes all.

The winner’s prizes will be as follows:

  • T4 Bambino: Brand-new complete T4 Mini kart
  • T4 Mini: $5,000 cash
  • T4 Junior: $5,000 cash
  • T4 Senior: $5,000 cash
  • T4 Masters: $5,000 cash

The only cash prize at the event is for each winner with the exception of T4 Bambino earning product. Second and third place will receive trophies, podium recognition and official photography.

Registration timeline and pricing

Registration opens on Monday, August 24, 2026, at 12:00 p.m. Eastern Time.

Instead of increasing the registration fee based on the number of drivers already entered, T4 KartPlex will use predetermined time-based deadlines. This will allow to keep the registered-driver count and identities confidential while still rewarding early commitments.

The proposed registration schedule is:

  • August 10 through September 30: $599
  • October 1 through October 31: $699
  • November 1 through November 30: $799
  • December 1 through December 6: $899
  • December 7 through December 9: $999

Registration will close on Wednesday, December 9, 2026, at 11:59 p.m. Eastern Time, three days before the event. A class may close earlier if it reaches the maximum of 36 confirmed entries.

The registration fee will include:

  • Night Shootout registration
  • One new set of official Maxxis T4 Race tires
  • Official event fuel
  • Five-minute warm-up
  • Green-white-checkered qualifying
  • Main Shootout race
  • Timing and scoring
  • Live broadcast coverage
  • Official event media

Registered driver names will remain confidential until race week.

Saturday Event Format

The entire Night Shootout will take place on Saturday.

The tentative schedule can be modified:

  • 9:00 a.m.–2:00 p.m.: Open practice session, Registration and technical inspection
  • 2:30 p.m.: Mandatory drivers’ meeting
  • 3:00 p.m.: Five-minute warm-up sessions begin
  • 4:15 p.m.: Green-white-checkered qualifying begins
  • 5:30 p.m.: Opening ceremony and driver presentation
  • 6:15 p.m.: T4 Bambino final
  • 6:45 p.m.: T4 Mini final
  • 7:20 p.m.: T4 Masters final
  • 8:00 p.m.: T4 Junior final
  • 8:45 p.m.: T4 Senior final
  • 9:30 p.m.: Podium and prize ceremony

The proposed race distances are Bambino – 15 laps, Mini – 18 laps with Junior, Senior and Masters competing for 26 laps.

Technical equality will be one of the main foundations of the event. Tires and fuel will be controlled. The front sprocket will be fixed by class, and drivers will have only two authorized rear-sprocket options. Drivers may evaluate both approved rear sprockets during warm-up. Their selected ratio must be declared before qualifying and remain unchanged through the final unless the race director authorizes a universal adjustment because of weather or safety conditions.

Arrive-and-Drive Program

Approved teams will offer Saturday arrive-and-drive packages beginning at $2,000.

The base package must include:

  • Complete race-ready T4 kart and engine
  • Shared mechanic
  • Basic kart preparation and setup support
  • Technical support during the event

Teams will be free to offer additional services, including dedicated mechanic, professional coaching, data analysis, video review, practice sessions, additional tires, transportation, hospitality and damage-waiver options.

The following day, Sunday, December 13, will be the KartPlex Cup championship finale.

The Sunday KartPlex Cup registration fee is $75. Drivers will have the option to continue with the same kart and team for the Sunday event.

The recommended complete Saturday-and-Sunday arrive-and-drive package will begin at approximately $2,500, depending on the team and the additional services selected by the driver.

Every additional practice day for kart rental, we suggest teams to start in $500 plus team services, agreed with them.
