Silly Season 2026 continues with breaking news prior to this weekend’s United States Pro Kart Series Indiana Grand Prix from New Castle Motorsports Park. California driver Jake Drew is set to make his debut with Rolison Performance Group in the X30 Pro division.

Drew is currently fourth in the USPKS X30 Pro point standings with a runner-up finish at the opening round from Trackhouse Motorplex, while also sitting fourth in the Superkarts! USA Pro Tour Pro X30 championship chase after two events. On the west coast with Formula Works / GFC Karting, Drew won two of three rounds at the ProKart Challenge and is the current championship leader at the halfway point of the season.

Drew told EKN, “While it was a difficult decision to leave a team that has truly become family over the last few years, I’m looking forward to the new opportunities and experience ahead.”

EKN reached out to Mike Rolison of Rolison Performance Group regarding the addition of Jake Drew to the team. “We are excited to welcome Jake to our team. He has a strong resume as a driver and a growing record as a coach. At Rolison Performance Group, we always strive to get the best out of our drivers. The addition of Drew to our staff and race team will help continue that for our current and future drivers under the RPG tent.”

The 26-year-old raced and worked with Formula Works prior to making the move up to stock car racing. Drew went on to earn four wins in ARCA Menards Series West in 21 starts, earning the 2022 series championship. He made six starts in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series in 2023 before coming back to work and race for Formula Works full time in 2025.
