Four New World Karting Association Trustees Elected
The World Karting Association (WKA) is pleased to announce the seating of four new Trustees following elections held in April. The updated Trustee District Map is attached.
Each Trustee will serve a three-year term helping guide the direction of the organization and represent WKA members across their respective districts.
The newly seated Trustees are:
District 1 – Brian Wihelm
District 2 – Kenny Gilliam
District 7 – Patrick Olsen
District 8 – Tim Hannen
The remaining four districts not up for election this cycle will hold elections in 2027, continuing WKA’s structured and rotating governance process.
WKA President Kevin Williams shared the following statement welcoming the new Trustees:
“On behalf of the World Karting Association, I want to welcome Brian, Kenny, Patrick, and Tim to the Board of Trustees. Each of these individuals brings valuable experience and a strong passion for karting that will help move our organization forward. As we continue to focus on growth, consistency, and supporting our tracks and racers, their input and leadership will play an important role. We look forward to working together to strengthen WKA for our members and the future of the sport.”
