As the official race team for Bestkart in the United States, Prodigy Motorsport is focused on continuing the momentum that they developed at the end of the 2025 season thanks to top results at the biggest karting events in the country. Working with Bestkart importer The Kart Shoppe, Prodigy Motorsports is a family-owned company based out of Charlotte, North Carolina with a busy schedule planned for 2026. Their race team is focused on putting the Bestkart brand on the podium throughout the year in all different categories.
Before diving into their schedule for this coming season, let’s have a look at the line-up of Bestkart chassis that Prodigy will put on-track this season.
The Bestkart F03 model is designed for single-speed competition in Senior, Junior and Master ranks for both 2-cycle and 4-cycle applications. The frame is constructed with 30mm tubing on the longitudinal rails, and it utilizes 32mm tubes on the crossbars and front loop. The F03 for 2-cycle divisions, including TaG and 100cc categories, is CIK-FIA homologated. The F03 4T model has no central bearing support to increase rear axle flexibility with 30mm tubes on the crossbars and front loop.
The Bestkart F01 model – CIK-FIA homologated – is made entirely of 32mm tubes and has been designed for KZ and single-speed categories. The Mini chassis for Cadet racers is constructed with 28mm tubing, which is also CIK-FIA homologated.

All of Bestkart’s chassis models are supplied with the AMV SUPERBRAKE system, AMV OXiTECH magnesium wheels, and KG 507/509 bodywork, including the new Bestkart sticker kit. The Mini chassis comes with the KG MK27 bodywork package.
“This is our first year using the Bestkart exclusively,” stated Chris Murray of Prodigy Motorsports. “We tested and developed the Bestkart through the end of 2024 and beginning of 2025, making the full switch in July of 2025. We had immediate success with fast times and consistent top five finishes with the Bestkart 4T and Bestkart F03 at the end of 2025.”
“Matt Landers won a KA senior race at a New Castle club race in July of 2025 at the age of 14, added Murray. “So far this year we’ve had four podium results and a win with Ben Beck in Briggs Junior at Trackhouse with the F03 4T. Ryan Casner won at K1 Circuit in California on an F03 in KA Masters at the Champions of the Future America Series. Landers won at Trackhouse at the most recent round in KA Senior just two days before 15th birthday. We’ve had four other podiums with the F03 at Trackhouse this year between KA Senior and KA Heavy. We are currently seeking drivers for Cadet and KA Junior on the Bestkart under the Prodigy Motorsports banner for the remainder of the 2026 season.”
As stated, Prodigy Motorsports is lining up an ambitious schedule for 2026. The team’s core program will run at the Trackhouse Motorplex in the facility’s eight-weekend / 12 round Karting Challenge. They’ll also campaign the entire United States Pro Kart Series and Stars Championship Series. Two CKNA races are on the calendar, including the Spring National at Charlotte in early March and the Grand Nationals in October at New Castle. Additional events that will complete their 2026 circuit include Apex Karting Championship (March), IAME US Grand National Championship (April), Superkarts! USA Pro Tour SummerNationals (July), and to cap off the year, the Superkarts! USA SuperNationals 29 in Las Vegas (November). The team has availability for arrive-and-drive programs for drivers ready to focus on winning.
