The format for the final weekend of the 2026 SKUSA Winter Series features unofficial practice on Wednesday and Thursday with Friday hosting five official sessions for testing. Round Three is set for Saturday, including qualifying, Prefinal and Final. Round Four is a repeat format on Sunday with the championship a best three of four scenario to crown the eight champions of the 2026 SKUSA Winter Series.

Two different drivers were able to stand at the top of the podium during the opening weekend for the Pro X30 presented by Kart CRG USA. Oliver Hodgson (Factory Karts) and Pauly Massimino (BJR / LN Kart) showed experience proved best over youth, earning the victories in the opening two rounds at Speedsportz. Hodgson has the championship lead as Massimino finds himself back in sixth due to a DNF in the first round. SuperNationals 28 winner Gus Lawrence (RPG / Kosmic) and Blake Nash (Nash / EOS) add to that experience at the front of the title chase, sitting second and third only 64 points out of the lead each with a podium result. Senior rookie Alexander Vanchev (RPG / Kosmic) is fourth, just off the podium in both rounds while Canadian Ayden Ingratta (REM / Kosmic) sits fifth with a podium finish in Round One.

Kiwi Jay Urwin (PSL / Birelart) and USA driver Gavin Bayliff (TKG / Birelart) led the way in Pro Shifter presented by PSL Karting. Both took a victory and were the only two drivers to stand on the podium both rounds. Urwin leads the championship by 40 points over Bayliff with Cooper Becklin (NRC / LN Kart) sitting third with two fourth place results in the opening weekend. Justin White (Maranello USA) and reigning SKUSA Pro Tour champion Billy Musgrave (Factory Karts) each had a podium result and DNF during the first weekend. They sit fourth and fifth, needing to end with wins or podium results to put themselves into the title chase. Making his SKUSA debut in 2026 is two-time defending Winter Series champion Matheus Morgatto (Velocity / Sodi Kart). After not racing in January, the Brazilian and former world karting champion will be racing for wins on the weekend.

The two winners from the first weekend in KA100 Senior presented by Orsolon Racing lead the championship chase going into the final weekend. Both Wynn Godschalk (Team Benik) and Round Two winner Zev Godschalk (Team Benik) – who are third and fourth – will be competing at the WSK Euro Series event and not be in Speedsportz. This will open the door for other drivers to step in and challenge for podium positions, including Kimo Ahmad (IRM / Benik), Hudson Howard (JHDD / Kart Republic) and Dutch Westbrook (Team Benik).

The only driver to pitch a perfect score over the opening weekend was Jack Kotowski (TKG Birelart USA) in Micro Swift presented by Benik Kart. Kotowski enters the weekend with an 80 point lead over Canadian Tristan Francisco (RPM / Nitro Kart). Dustry Strayer (Parolin Motorsport USA), Max Santana (Team Benik) and Shepp Sullivan (Team Benik) make up the top five in the standings, looking to break up the perfect score going into the weekend by Kotowski.
